Roths is kind of a gothic anamoly in the neighborhood. The dark exterior and high prices make it tough for everyday dinning, but on special occasions this place fits the bill. The jazz is really good although if you go at the wrong time the Jazz is too loud and overpowers the experience. The steaks are pretty good, they try to be like the downtown steak houses with the meat display. Overall if you want a nice night out with out going downtown this is about as good as it gets this far north....

It smelled so good from the outside we had to go in. He enjoyed the steak very much, I found it a little bland but I usually do since I'm hispanic and American steak seems to taste like that to me always. So I don't blame the restaurant. I enjoyed the lobster and the little necks. They have a full bar which I love and they have a nice selection of wines for those that love their steak with wine. I love the service and the decorations. I could go without the piano, it makes everyone speak a little louder. It's very quaint. I defenitly have it on my list of places I enjoy. Well priced.
