The Scene
With 11 TVs, '80s hard-rock soundtrack and brightly lit pool tables, Bar None is where men are dudes, women are broads and beer is Bud. Prissy Eurotrash types seeking a fine glass of red wine will run for their lives upon setting foot in this wonderfully booze-stenched dive, which feels more like Dallas than Manhattan.
The Draw
The salty bartenders shake up exceptionally potent cocktails, which are, of course, free of girly garnishes. But bare-bones boozing is what this mostly blue-collar and college football-star crowd is after. The bar stools are hogged by thick-waisted regulars who aren't about to let some downtown sissy elbow in on their $10 bucket of Bud Lite shorties--but if you're looking to impress your date with some bubbly, a sign above the bar suggests you "play the role" with a $60 bottle of Moet. Classy, n'est ce pas?

I went here for New Years Eve. I wasn't expecting too much from this place from the pictures on the website, but it was a decent price for the open bar, and my friends and I were cash strapped this year. I really think I should have just spent the extra $30 to go somewhere else because this place is a hole. IT was packed wayyy beyond what's legal and too the point where the coat check was full and people were leaving there coats under the DJ's box. They lost my friend's coat and the club manager wasn't cooperating at all by refusing to give any contact information for the places management or parent company. Instead kept giving the number to the bar itself. Later on this place was getting so slippery because of al lthe spilled drinks that people were falling all over the place (I went down once myself when trying to navigate through the place). Drinks were okay as long as you tipped the bartender, but this place is really a hole that needs to be shutdown and its owners fined.

My girlfriends and i went to Bar None for Halloween because we were told they were hosting a Costume Contest and that the winners would win bar tabs (which is a sweet deal to a couple of lushes like us). Despite the banner outside the bar advertising said Costume Contest, there was no contest to be had. The bartenders, bouncers and djs alike had no idea what we were talking about when we finally inquired about this alleged contest at 1:30am. Granted, we did have fun on Halloween and we have had fun at this bar before, we were still super annoyed that we were mislead. That being said, I can't promise that we'll be back here.

Bar None is really fun!! Went there last weekend with a bunch of my girlfriends and had a great time! There's beer pong in the back if you get there early enough, then a dj and dancing. No cover and pretty cheap drinks. $2 mixed drinks and these humongous drinks in a fishbowl! Great place to dance
