Disappointed. After reading many good reviews, we were so disappointed with our dining experience at Heartland Brewery. We were seated in the back room which was nice and private, only a few other tables. Our waiter was just wonderful but it was downhill from there. We ordered the calamari which was like chewing rubber bands, we also ordered the New England Clam Chowder which was good. My husband took advantage of the three course dinner which he ordered a steak smothered with mushrooms and onions. Was more like diner quality. I ordered a NY strip steak and our waiter asked if I wanted the Angus NY Strip for a few dollars more, I said yes. Well the steak was very small and very tough. We also ordered asparagus which was baked with Parmesan cheese, the cheese was overcooked and dry. Everything is Ala Carte and the bill adds up fast. we spent well over $100.00 plus tip for a dinner that was way below par. Other than that, the restaurant is very nicely decorated, rest rooms were very nice and clean, however, we will not go back.

Enticing Gourmet Beer. Heartland Brewery is home to a countless number of enticing gourmet combining flavors that you probably wouldnt see in everyday beer flavours. Combining fruits for excellent lambics, with award winning stouts and ales. Even a Pilsner worth talking about. A strong recomendation for beer enthusiasts.

Perfect Dinner Spot. I also came here a few weeks ago with some friends for a birthday dinner!! The service was exceptional and I felt like our waiter was only serving us. He was very helpful with the menu and explaining exactly what each dish consisted of. He also recommended some great cocktails made by TY KU for us, which were absolutely amazing!! Can't wait to return and eat here again!

Perfect for an after work dinner and drinks!. Went here last week after work with my boss and co-workers, for dinner and drinks. We were seated shortly upon arrival and the alcohol list was moderately priced and extensive. I had a TY KU liqueur based cocktail and the filet mignon with mashed potatoes- it was simply delicious! Everyone went home feeling satisfied. Will definiteley be back...

Good times with friends. Met up with some friends for some drinks and apps after work one night. We had some great beers and a sampler platter of apps which was nice but not great. It was a good mixed crowd and the service was pretty good. I would come back again for some beers with friends for a pre-dinner meet up!

Good food, and great for large groups. We recently held our rehearsal dinner here, with a total of 33 people attending. Heartland has a special number for coordinating large events which made it so simple to pick out the menu and make the reservation. The setup was great, we had our own private room in the back of the restaurant which had its own bar. We did the open beer/wine/soda bar, and they had around 6-8 very interesting beers on tap for us. Food was great, especially the Romanian Tenderloin. I was stunned at how delicious it was as I was not expecting such a well prepared piece of meat from something with "Brewery" in its name. On top of that our two servers that I believe were just for our party were fun and attentive. I have literally no complaints about the experience because it went so smoothly and everything was so good. All the guests were impressed and had a great time. We were actually worried that the reception wouldn't live up to the rehearsal dinner, but luckily it did and then some (S. Dynasty Restaurant).

GREAT restaurant!. The sirloin steak I had was the BEST I've had in as long as I can remember -- a VERY long time! It was cooked perfectly and tender. As much as I hate to say it, it was better than Galagher's, Sardi's (although that experience was also near perfect), and a few other places we went to in the city. The Vanilla Vixen cocktail was also delicious! I will DEFINITELY go there again next time we go to the city.

Good steaks for the price. The Buffalo steak is only $17.95 which is pretty good considering its decent size. Side dishes don't come with the entrees, except for potato, but don't order one unless you're with a giant group. We got creamed spinach which was extremely light and fresh, but the portion could have fed 6-8 people.

had fun. My girlfriend and I had visited the restaurant in the Empire State Building. The beer was great and service was excellent. The food was good and came immediately after we ordered it, but the portions weren't all that large. My favorite beer was the Indian River Light....very tasty...the stout was also excellent.

Decent Place in Times Square. If you are looking for a sit down place to have your beer and a couple of appetizers -- Heartland is the place. My personal favorite is the mini burgers and a pint of their seasonal beer (do not order the calamari). My guest had the meatloaf and enjoyed himself. So if you are looking to avoid the lines at Olive Garden and a bar style environment pick Heartland.

The restaurant on 14 Street has more of an after work atmosphere it is always crowded at the bar. So if you are looking to rub elbows with suits, the 14th Street location is your place.
