Great Manicurist, Terrible Place. I have only good things to say is that the women who work there try to be a professional as possible under the terrible employment of Janna. These ladies work hard to make sure that the customers feel valued. Unfortunately, they work for Janna. She is constantly selling unwanted to products to clients. She does not stop talking and will interupt a conversation that a client might be having with their manicurist to speak in Russian about some nonsense.

She treats the women who work there like slaves. They are cleaning floors, windows, or whatever. Even though I do not speak Russian, I can tell that she is nasty and degrading to her employees. One only has to look at their faces to see that she said something inappropriate again. The morale there is terrible.

I have even overheard her say anti-Semetic remarks.

The best Spa in town. I have been Jana's client for almost four years. And I really think this is the best beauty spa. Her facials are great and relaxing. Th laser hair removal give you the best results. Wonderful manicures and pedicures. Th staff is very polite and professional. Jana the owner is a doll. Sh makes you feel at home from the first time you set foot into her store. Overall I recommend her services to everyone in need.

Great Facials, Brazilian and Nails!. I visit Janna Beauty Spa weekly for the last five years. I usually get my facials, nails and Brazilian done. Facials are really amazing. My skin is super sensitive and breaks out easily but my facialist knows exactly what it needs. All our skin needs is a little extra attention, cleaning, and relaxation with pure and natural ingredients in a comfortable, clean atmosphere. You will always be offered a cup of tea, coffee or a piece of freshly baked baklava. I highly recommend this spa! It's not over-the-top expensive and is well worth saving up for.

The best Brazilian bikini wax experience!. I go to Janna Beauty Spa over 6 years for Brazilian bikini. I have the best experience here. The staff is very professional and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I highly recommend you Janna Beauty spa Lazer Center. Right now they have special of Brazilian bikini $25.

Best all-around day spa in the West Village. I have been going to Janna for years and have always been very pleased with her manis, pedis, bikini waxing, facials, and brow and lash dying. Janna herself concocts the best customized facials. The few products she has recommended have been right on for me. Victoria, one of her assistants, is a whiz at waxing. I really don't understand or agree with the negative, illiterate review on this page. However, I know from experience that there is, just a few blocks away, another day spa also owned and staffed by women from the same country as Janna. But the attendants at this spa spend more time gossiping about their clients than providing fine service. Janna gives friendly service at fair prices...and she's open on Sunday!!!

The best Lazer Hair removal experience and excelent facials!. I was hairy like a beast , my boyfriend can't stop complimenting how smooth my body feels after several treatments of laser hair removal. The staff of the spa is very professional, makes you feel very comfortable and low key. I've also tried facials and was amazed by the thorough job, great massage and very warm decorated , extremely clean rooms with lot of sophisticated facials and body machines. Janna beauty spa uses only natural and organic facials and body care. I highly recommend this Spa.

no respect to clients. There are 2 excellent masters - Vika for wax and manicur and Sveta for facial. Janna, the owner of spa tries to earn money without investment. That's why this spa needs reconstruction. That's why she makes appointments very tight - you have to wait all the time for 20 mins or even more. There is no receprionist and manicur master is answering all telephone calls during your time. Laser master and owner Janna is worriing about her car munimeter than your procedure even if you are waiting for her for 20 minutes. She likes to offer clients make up products even if you don't like it. there are no respect to clients.

wonderful customer service. I have nothing but great experiences here!! I have many differnet things done here from waxing to laser hair removal. I love going for mani/pedis here and right now they are having a special of $25 mani/pedi!! love it!! The woman here are very nice!!

A comfy, clean go-to spot for beauty maintenance needs.. The Scene
The two levels of this body destination are bustling with West Villagers. Prettier than most places that offer a $12 manicure, Janna's traditional interior is appointed with ornate, brocade pillow-topped manicure tables, a wedgewood blue stained wood floor and plenty of lounging options for waiting. Massage pedicure chairs are always a plus, and the baklava and spinach pastries are much appreciated, too.

The Services
While nail services (with OPI and Esse polishes) and waxing are the most popular offerings here, electrolysis, body treatments featuring everything from algae salt to Gommage body peels, massages (Swedish, Shiatsu, Reiki and Reflexology) and facials are also available. YonKa Paris products are used in the three Mediterranean-inspired treatment rooms, which include private saunas and showers.

Terrific!. After trying out a few waxings and manicures here, and being pleased with the results, I decided to try a facial. I was pleasantly surprised by it, especially given the relatively cheap price. The facialist was considerate and thorough. The extractions were a bit painful, but she did a great job! My skin looks great, and I'll definitely return for more!
