“This place is fantastic for quick, inexpensive food that is fun and tastes good.”
“Anyone who thinks different doesn't know good food from bad.”
“I've tried multiple menu items and have enjoyed everything I've tried here, including the baklava.”
“This is the best place to get a Falafel in the city!”
“even like the service--which is fast and stressed (I REALLY hope those guys are well paid) -- but actually very friendly, too.”
“While it may not contend for the best falafel in the city, it's up there, and you can't beat their unbelievably low prices.”
“The falafels are just delicious and you are served quick.”

The best cheap falafel in the city. The shawarma is great too. Make sure to get it to go and dine Washington Square Park.
Excellent place with excellent food. THe owner is friendly and the place is great.
Went here for lunchtime while investing the day in the town. Was not dissatisfied AT ALL. As one writer had written, inexpensive, quick and top excellent. Very small place, but the range goes quick. We were even fortunate to pick up a desk. Would certain go back again.
yummy and super cheap. whenever we are out in the village we always stop at mamouns for some yummy and cheap fellafel ( or however you spell it heehee) The hot sauce is so yummy !
REVIEW FROM CITYSEARCH's 3BUCKBITES DICTATOR. One of my pet peeves is falafel made out of spiced sawdust. Off Bleecker Street, I found falafel that victoriously avoided this by being moist and green on the inside, delightfully crunchy and brown on the outside. Tossed together with some tahini and tomatoes and sold for a mere 2 bucks and 2 quarters, my only regret is that tomatoes are not in season. Maybe next time.
amazing. How can you not like this place. These sandwiches are amazing. I love the chicken kabob sandwiches, and this is the only falafel place whose hot sauce is actually hot
gem in the Village. This place is fantastic for quick, inexpensive food that is fun and tastes good. They always seem busy and the prices are great. Unfortunately, it's difficult to sit down, but if you're on the run it doesn't matter. I've tried multiple menu items and have enjoyed everything I've tried here, including the baklava.
Love this hot sauce. This place is always amazing, when I am in the 'hood I love to come here and grab two chicken kabob sandwiches and dump all that mouth water spicy spicy hot sauce all over it. I wish they would have one in Midtown.
Don't miss this one. Best falafel at a great price will always keep you going back..
This place is a staple to the Village! I hear people speak of the lines in this small takeout restaurant. There are only a few tables to be had or maybe a bench or set of steps outside but wherever you find space it is always worth the short wait. It seems that they have it down to a science where they keep the customer happy. It seems like they keep moving this line along at an incredible and friendly speed. I overheard this lady say upon one visit that this was a good meal and as I thought to myself ?where else can you eat dinner as good as this for $2.50?
I will always make Mamoun?s one of my stops when strolling through the village and I suggest that if you have not tried it, then it?s time to give it a try. You won?t be sorry.
