SUDE a real dissappointment. I walked into Sude the other day and was surprised by the UGLY, OVERPRICED and OUTDATED clothing. I felt like I was in the late 90's. Whoever picks their clothes has absolutely no style or taste. Seemed like a washed out mom was working there and she was faker than the bags on Canal St. What a disappointment!!

Not as good as it use to be!. I use to run over to this store when I needed something to wear out on a friday night or a quick date outfit but now there is just waaaaay 2 much juicy clothing!!! The selection has in my view gone down hill.

Hidden Gem on 9th Ave.. Sude is always a treat to visit. Definitely worth the trip down Columbus when you're in Lincoln Center.

Great selection and good prices. Seven jeans are less than at Barneys or Bloomingdales. The perfect place to find just the right thing for work or a night out.

Going where fashion boutiques have never gone before.. The Scene
Style mavens of Hell's Kitchen rejoice! Gutsy Sude Dellinger, a sweet, southern girl with international style, has brought (affordable) fashion to a neighborhood that's starting to clean up its act. Sude's eponymous store features her own wear-everywhere designs and exclusives she's pulled in from abroad--not to mention candlelight and hip dance music.

The Goods
The conceit here is "global fashion": Sude used to tour the world with musicians, and she presents a variety of women's styles she admired on her travels. Two-tone suede cinch belts and unfinished lace tops hail from London; stretch nylon shirts are fresh from Australia; skincare and scents come from Greece and Portugal. Sude's own "funked up basics" range from stretchy denim skirts with mesh inserts in the pleats to belts with vintage, truck-driver buckles.

There Greeeeeeeeeaaat!!!!. Well, I feel that Sude and her assistant are great. They have helped me out with numerous occassions. So the negativity of others don't mind them, Sude is a beautiful person and when she attends the enk shows, she tells me what she ordered that is gonna be the trend setters for the season gooooooooo SUDE!!!!!!!!!

I must agree.... I went in a few times, but the staff wasn't friendly. They don't even say "hello" upon entering the store. Since I live in the neighborhood, I'm glad that there is a store like this on 9th Avenue now, but the selection is... Not impressive. It feels like trying to be a Nolita shop but failed. Maybe they had better selection in the beginning??? Otherwise, how else do you explain about voted for #1 Woman's clothing store????????????

hell's kitchen fashion. I go to Sude a lot, because I live on the West Side. While the selection is not unique -- Joie, Only Hearts, Deutsch, A-G, Vivienne Tam, Miss Sixty, Plenty, Juicy, Mica, Poleci, etc., I go to Sude is that her taste is similar to mine so I don't wade through a lot of stuff. She carries the "cheaper" end of designer clothing and is about 5-10% discount over other shops.

I empathize with some reviewers about clothing sizes, but most designers cater to the 2-8 crowd anyway, so it's not really the fault of the shop. Sude and her assistant are less of a hard sell then other shops, and it's the type of service I prefer - honesty so I don't spend hundreds on stuff I don't like.

In LOVE!!. I am so in love with this store I can't tell you!! Best thing that's happened to Hell's Kitchen in awhile. I always find a great "going out top" here - And put it with a cool pair of Joes Jeans (They have a huge selection) Love the laid back friendly atmosphere of the store - Great tunes, great service...(Never breathing down your neck.)

Sadley I'm moving to the east side - But without a doubt I will continue to make the trip West for this store!
