Personalized attention at hotel mega-chain? Surprise!.
The Scene
A spa snob might raise a well-groomed brow at the mention of a treatment at the Hilton--teeming with brightly-clad tour groups and conventions--but a little research indicates that the monolith hotel is actually home to a cozy, splurge-worthy spa. Soothing neutrals dominate the nine-room facility, and accents like Caribbean-inspired throws, bamboo, Italian tile, and sweet Indian Nagchampa incense hint at the global treatments. A chaise-lounge appointed post-treatment "relaxation room," fitness facilities, steam room and sauna are at your disposal.
The Services
Massages utilize Judith Jackson aromatherapy or Biotone oils, and are some of the best around; choose from 11 types, like 50-minute Balinese or 25-minute neck, back and shoulder sessions. Also featured: corporeal indulgences like the Shea Butter Body Treatment and the Bali Sea and Flowers Scrub; 11 facials, from the Just for Him to the Crushed Orange Express; and mani/pedis with OPI or Pinky polishes.
like butta.... My mom got me a BALINESE Massage for Christmas and it was just the thing I needed. In the end, I was melded into butter and i smelled like Jasime and Yling Yling for the rest of the day.... amazing... FYI: this massage uses techniques from Bali and Hawaii in combination with Deep Tissue -- so its not a "typical" massage with oils.
