Great Party Place. Fun place for lively evening. Food choices at Bar 515 make it an easy pick for a good and filling meal, or just for appetizers. Beer list is amazing. Prices are inexpensive. And it's big enough so that all 23 of us could have our own party spot by the waterfall in the back. We'll be back!!!!!!

My NY Neighborhood bar. its a friendly place, dark but you can see, music, sports on tv. Good cheap food and booze.

good times!. This bar is sooo much cleaner than the other bars in the neighborhood making this a major plus. The bartenders are quick and friendly. Also they clear away the tables on the weekends making a nice size dance floor. I would def come back to this place again with my girls.. there are a lot of good looking guys here!!

Horrible service.
WORST BARTENDERS EVER.
I was at Bar 515 on Saturday night for my friend's birthday. We were hanging in the back corner of the bar (couch area). All night, we were buying drinks and shots at the circular bar in the back room. We dealt with mostly the male bartender (brown hair, chubby) and everyone tipped for every single drink.
When I went up to the bar, waiting for the shots, the bus boy came with the huge crate and began to take away the used glasses and beer bottles off the counter. I had a half-finished beer. I was HOLDING it in my HAND when the bus boy grabbed my bottle by the mouthpiece out of my hand. When he realized that it was half-finished, he puts it back on the counter, not even an apology. Granted it was crowded and dark, so I called the bartender over and told him what happened. I asked him for a new bottle to replace the one the bus boy touched.
His response-- "I don't care, it's not my problem, there's nothing I can do". By this time, he had poured us the shots. I told him that I wasn't going to pay for the shots unless he exchanges my beer. The bus boy touched my bottle mouthpiece with his HAND. I'm not drinking that. His hand is dirty. He's been collecting used glasses all night, right in front of me. It was clearly his fault. This bartender, whom we have been tipping generously ALL NIGHT, refused to give me a new bottle.
What was even more ridiculous was that after I told him that I wasn't paying fo the shots, he threw the shots out. So, he would rather throw away $16 worth of liquor than to replace a $6 beer? It was ridiculous. Of course, you can imagine that I was pissed off. I demanded to speak to the manager. He waved me off and told me to go find him myself.
I found a waitress. Told her what happened, and she told me to speak to the main bartender on duty for the night by the front bar. So, after telling him the story again, I did finally get a replacement bottle. However, no one apologized. No one was courtesy.
No tip-paying customer should be treated like this. That bartender in the back room should be fired.
DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR.

Nice After Work Bar. I like the fact there is a mix of age groups in Bar 515 versus the under 30 crowd at other 3rd ave bars. You can go there alone but you won't feel lonely. Happy Hour drink specials are VERY reasonable. I have never eaten there but my observations tell me the food is good. The staff(bartenders, wait staff and door security) are professional and friendly.

This bar rocks!. One of the greatest times that I have had a bar in the city. Great Bartenders made some awesome shots with hot girls everywhere and a packed party atmosphere. A 10!!

Good weekends late. Fun atmosphere and cool bartenders! I came back here dancing Friday night – good DJ was working the back. Packed back there. More upscale than the other third avenue bars. Check out the waterfall.

Best sportsbar to have a good party.
All 23 of us met up at Bar 515 for some burgers and apps and beer. The juicy burgers are outstanding. What's even better --- the prices are downright cheap.
We decided to stay and went to the back bar & waterfall lounge area. I just luved the live DJ music. We all had a fab time.
My girlfriends and I will be back here for our next 'girls night out' .
