Nickel Spa: A Men's Spa in Chelsea NYC

Blessed with an imposing setting provided by a refurbished bank building, Nickel attracts attention from the street with its giant, glowing white foyer. Beyond the foyer, you'll find two floors decked out in brushed-chrome fittings and connected by a spiral staircase. Nickel specializes in facials, but mani/pedis are also available in a nifty bar and swivel-seat area. In many of the eight massage rooms, steel walls slide back to reveal adjoining en suite showers. To cap it all off, there's a napping room and a private entrance for VIP members.

The manager made it right, refunded the overcharge

I had a bad experience, got overcharged and the receptionist was very rude about it, but the manager made it right so I'm deleting the review. But I won't be going back.

Worst Phone Experience Ever

I was just abruptly told that there are no reservations even though their website scheduler says there are. I asked the associate why the disparity between the website and his response and he said "we're having our holiday christmas party and the staff member didn't want to take me even though the slot is open. RUDE! I will find somewhere else to go in the city moving forward and also tell all of my friends about this experience. This place has been going downhill for a while. This was the straw...

This place sucks.

The atmosphere is not spa like at all. It's very cold and unwelcoming.

The therapists seem to have zero connection to the place and are somewhat robotic.

I have gotten 2 massages here now and each time they are underwhelming.

The rooms are sterile, the massage is extremely basic and you feel rushed in and out.
