Bringing treasures from the African desert.. The Scene
The name of this Nolita shop is extremely apropos--walk through the gates and there, on the other side, is Morocco. Or, at least, Moroccan goods, packed floor to ceiling. The bazaar-like atmosphere inspires imaginings of hot tea and arid desert.

The Goods
Endless variety: ornately painted shelves, traditional Moroccan ceramics, stuffed leather mini-seats, slip-on shoes (pointed or round-toe), an impressive assortment of jewelry fit for a queen, and much, much more. Beware of the snowball effect of shopping here: Does a tea set appeal? All of the sudden, it may not seem enough--a decorative table would show it off nicely, and some painted plates for appetizers, and maybe some colorful leather seats, and and and!
