The Scene – Nestled in a picturesque West Village street, the second location of nail guru Jin Soon's ultra-popular salon mirrors its East Side sister's mellow vibe and Asian-inspired decor. Sink into one of the sumptuous silk cushions, sip green tea and relax as skilled nail technicians provide probably the most immaculate (and certainly most soothing) manicures and pedicures in town. – – The Services – Everything you could possibly ask for nail-wise and more. The tantalizing menu includes the popular (and decadent) "Breath of Milk Honey," during which hands or feet…

Quality has slipped

The staff is still sweet, the space is still beautiful and and you'll still get your cup of tea, but the "special" pedicures aren't so special anymore. The creams and scrubs are now the same cheap stuff you'll find at any nail place. Your relaxing massage will be over before you can close your eyes. They pay more attention to detail during the polishing than many of the cheaper places, but that doesn't justify the extra expense. I had been a regular customer for a couple of years but I'd been away for awhile. I came back recently and gave them three chances to show me they still had it. Maybe it's because Jin Soon herself isn't there as much as she used to be? Save your money.
- Pros: Nice atmosphere, cup of tea, easy to get an appointment just a day or so in advance
- Cons: Not what it used to be
DIVINE -- WILL BE BACK

I have had the delightful experience of the best manicure/pedicure ever at Jin Soon"s Natural Hand and Foot Spa. I have recommended it to friends who also have been thrilled with the exceptional service. I submit this as recently I had a friend visiting from out of state and I wanted to give them something special ...and I did. I called Jin Soon's and arranged to have whatever treatment my friend desired....cost no option..I would pay. Jin Soon and her staff were more than cooperative and provided my friend with an experience not to be forgotten. If you need to feel love for yourself....this is where you will find it. Thank you Jin Soon and staff.
- Pros: quality, serene, friendly
- Cons: none, none, none
Over-rated and Overpriced

After reading glowing reviews in different magazines, I was excited to try a pedicure here even if it was twice the price I usually pay. What a disappointment! Absolutely no different from my usual $20 place ... and the seating was actually uncomfortable. The staff was friendly enough and the pedicure was fine but nothing special. Save your money.
- Pros: Friendly Staff
- Cons: Overpriced, Overrated, Uncomfortable seating
Don't bother with this one

After all the hype, I was looking forward to a pedicure at Jin Soon at the Jones Street location. I was extremely disappointed. The milk and honey pedicure was not pleasant or relaxing, the manicurist was clearly not happy to be doing her job, and the products she put on my feet and legs were sticky, unpleasant and full of chemicals. The atmosphere was nothing special at all, the seat was uncomfortable and the polish choices were limited. Save your money and aggravation and skip this nail salon. Very over-rated and over-priced.
- Pros: none
- Cons: rude, unpleasant, bad servc & products
A break from the cookie cut cheap salon

Jinsoon, although small and crowded (on weekends) is an oasis in the Village. The staff is friendly, sweet and warm and the services are not typical of a korean nail salon. They offer you a tea when you sit down for a pedicure. Defintely go for the sweet citrus tea! It is defintely not your typical nail salon, they use Chanel and Nars products for goodness sake!
