2007- Louis is too much!!. Louis has been around a long time - and it shows--he is cranky and picky. He has some very talented people working in his palace but his attitude is a turn off- this man needs to be a little more humble.

Attitude from the top filters down----there are far to many salons in NYC where the owners don't have attitude.

Best Hair Color In USA. By far best hair colorists in the USA. Make an appointment with Yolanda and you will also find, real european class and a hair color so natural and beautiful that people will tell you how beautiful is your hair. I had never had the color quality I got from her and now I all my friends travel to NYC fron New England for a day at Louis Licari whenever we need it.

I LOVE LOUIS LICARI. I visited the Louis Licari hair salon after a botched up haircut left me feeling unattractive and completely scared to go anywhere near a pair of scissors. I have very curly hair, and decided to give them a call after reading A.Dickey's "Hair Rules" (a book I would also highly recommend for anyone with curly hair). Not only was I able to book an appointment directly with Dickey (who has done many celebrities' hair including Sarah Jessica Parker and Minnie Driver), but I was able to do so within a matter of days. The staff was extremely curteous and understanding, and Dickey did a fabulous job with my hair. Now I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!

PERFECTION. Louis Licari salon is hands down the best of the best! I went in for an appointment with Kathy (colorist) for a double process and she listened to what I wanted and then explained how I could get the same results by doing something less damaging and less in price. I saw Rich after for a haircut and to my surprise he didn't comment on how dead my ends were and how he would be able to make my hair healthier without cutting it all off! I walked out and was so pleased and looked soooo 5th avenue I was dying to run into everyone I knew! Cudos to Louis Licari salon!

Best Color Anywhere!. I have been to many top NYC salons for color..frederic fekkai, john barrett, bumble & bumble...and my color was always...OK. Today I saw Paige at Louis Licari and for the first time, I actually LOVE my color. I will never go anywhere else! To top it off, the staff was wonderful...so friendly and my hair actually smelled GOOD post color. The salon is not exactly "luxe", but it is spacious and comfortable. Of course the price is pretty steep...but well worth it.
