“Gorgeous and the service is impeccable”
“It was an incredible value given the staff, the location and the amenitites.”
My friends think I’m snobbish because I like to stay at the Ritz when I travel for work. I don’t care what they call me because when I get a view like this from my room, it’s worth the extra money that my per diem won’t cover. The room service is out of this world, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are more luxurious than anywhere else I’ve ever stayed. The staff is friendly and accommodating, rounding out why I’ll always stay at the Ritz.
Top of the line. It cannot get any better than this. If you are looking for high quality and exceptional service, this is the place to stay. Our children could not stay away from the telescope in our room. Just imagine, being able to see the Statue of Liberty up close as your view. Since we stayed for Thanksgiving, we were able to enjoy the meal they were offering for the holiday . It was scrumptious. Their lounge, Rise, on the 14th floor serves great drinks with a breathtaking view.
it doesn't get any better than this. Beautiful hotel...we stayed there after a party we had recently, as a special treat. Gorgeous and the service is impeccable
You must see the view. You simply cannot visit the city without seeing the amazing view from the Rise hotel! It is beyond spectacular!
The world-class chain reigns over downtown with a stunning, waterfront hotel..
The Scene
Boasting sweeping harbor views, this hotel features a more contemporary design for the venerable chain: light wood, pale colors, deco-inspired rooms and original pieces by New York artists like Ross Bleckner and Joseph Stashkeveich. Unique services and attention to detail exceed expectations; bath butlers, telescopes, and "power" tea service add to the luxury. It's popular with business travelers, but the romantic location, relaxed vibe and family-friendly offerings make it perfect for others as well.
The Details
The 298 rooms, spread over 14 floors and including city/harbor view rooms, junior suites, Liberty suites and Ritz-Carlton suites, feature Frette sheets, feather beds and goose-down pillows and Bernard bathrobes; suites include Ritz-Carlton pajamas. Enjoy a health club with spa services, 24-hour room service, complimentary downtown shuttle service and state-of-the-art business center. The RC Club floor offers private lounge and meal service; otherwise, dine at the 2 West and Lobby Lounge restaurants or Rise Bar.
The Omnipotence of all Hotels!!!. The Ritz Carlton at Battery park City offers visitors to lower Manhattan the omipotence of luxury hotela. The splendor and extravagance displayed by the Hotel and its staff can be matched by no other hotel in the world
Amazing Battery Park at the Ritz Carlton. This Ritz Carlton, Battery Park is very amazing. The rise bar has a spectacular view the harbor and statue of libery, you even get to see Jersey City up close.
Excellent hotel experience. I've stayed at this hotel two or three times and I highly recommend it. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are excellent and have deep bathtubs. The bath products are top notch. The service is also wonderful. The last time I stayed, I had the flu, and having such excellent accommodations made me feel better. The staff kept bringing pots of hot water to my room at no charge, so I could make tea. The restaurant was nice, but not excellent. I found the steaks to be undercooked and the tuna too spicy. However, overall, this was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had.
Everything top-notch...except for the location.
I love this hotel if it was closer to the action but some people might like that. Very friendly staff upgraded me from my already nice room to an even nicer one. Very large with great views and beautiful decor and bathroom.
The health club was average, ok in a pinch since nothing is close. Room service is fine. The much-heralded Rise was a disappointment. Overrun by annoying yuppies who demand the best views with their nasally voices so they can nurse their one drink for hours.
