Editorial Review for Mandarin Deli – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
This noodle joint occupies one nook in a large shopping complex, but the environment is more colorful than your average mini-mall. The menu allows diners to match all manner of meats and vegetables with wonton dumplings, ramen-style spaghetti and luscious handmade noodles (think fettuccine with a more substantial texture). Dumplings are thin sheaths stuffed with meat or fish, then pan-fried or boiled.

ParkingThe underground lot is convenient and usually free. With a minimum purchase, the restaurant will validate for half an hour.
Save MoneySoups are a meal unto themselves. Two moderately hungry diners can fill up splitting one soup and one appetizer.
The ExtrasIf there's a wait, head over to the second location in nearby Little Tokyo.
Know Before You GoFor those who forget to bring bills, this cash-only establishment is just two doors down from a bank.

There is nothing that can surpass the majesty of the handmade spicy noodle. It's the perfect comfort food. Also, don't mind the lady who yells "no rice here" when you walk in, she's actually pretty friendly.
