Never again.. The Ugly: As with any place, watch your lease terms. They will say one thing and then back out of a verbal agreement.

Nice NJ Rentals. I have lived at the Landings for almost two years now (in two different apartments). I have not had my rent drastically increase. Unlike other users, I do not have a car so cannot comment on parking conditions or prices. However, on the positive side I can say that I have always found the management to be very kind and helpful (with the exception of one woman who I find to be not-so-smart but certainly not mean). The office is typically open until 6 on weeknights, but is open until 7 on Thursdays, and for most of the day on Saturday and Sunday. Maintenance requests have always been addressed promptly. Common spaces are kept clean. The pool in the summer has a fabulous view and the people there are never obnoxious or trashy. The walls and ceilings are thin and you can hear your neighbors if they're shouting or stomping around. Electric range and oven aren't the best, but there is laundry in every apartment at least. They are pretty insistent about cleanliness when moving out, but consider the person moving in next who doesn't want a scummy apartment.

THE WORST APARTMENT AND MANAGEMENT STAFF. This was the worst complex I have ever lived in! The mangement is just plain mean, they love to play games with your money. Buyer please beware of this complex, i would not reccomend to my worst enemie. The view is great however if you want to share it with a bunch of thugs that crowd up the walkway at night partying then be my guest. Oh and did i forget to mention the rent increase game and blunt discrimination that goes on , You will only have a rent increase if 1. they do not like you. 2. Ethnicity. 3. If they think you have the extra $$ to help them with there pathetic monthly quotas. Now if you fall into any of those ares let me tell you the increase in the rent will be between $ 800-1000. Yes i did say $800- 1000. Wow what nerve and the funny thing is once you move because no shock that you will not pay this. Your apartent will be put back on the market for less $$$ than you were paying in the first place. Now do you see why management really is bad. They are so dumb that they think they are actually making money? Hello you just lost $$$ and new clients. One more thing parking is $160 a month and you pay for sewage. if you request an extra spot good luck mangement needs an indoor spot to park there cars. So I say one more time beware!!

Terribly overpriced! Mean staff and management woman.. As the others mentioned, the staff is pretty horrible. They are rather rude to tenants and seem to close the office whenever they feel like it. I've been stuck waiting for them for over 45 minutes in front of their locked door because I wanted to pick up my package.

Their office hours are 9 am - 6 pm. And unless you don't have a job to go to, I have no idea how you are going to ever pick up your packages - since all of them are delivered in the office only.

You are also getting charged extra for absolutely anything that comes to mind - your pet - $50 a month, parking - $150/mo, having guests over park their cars on holidays - $10 per night, etc... Not to mention that you are charged for security - additional $20/mo. And the so-called alarm in our apartment has never worked - it's totally dead. The doorbell system in our building has never worked either. So any time I get a food delivery or any of my friends are coming by, I have to walk all the way down to open the door for them.

The walls/doors are thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing - from having s*x or a fight to changing their children's diapers.

Sure there is a pool in the summer, but you are only allowed to bring 2 guests with you.

Moreover - right after I told them I am leaving, the staff people got even meaner. They told me I can't park my car where I've been parking it for the past 7 or 8 months, because they are going to tow it?!?!

The carpets and walls inside are white - and that's for a reason too. When you are moving out the staff will do anything to persuade you that you didn't keep them clean enough. It doesn't matter if you clean them a couple of times each week (like me.) They staff will let you know that they are going to use your security deposit to change the carpet and paint the walls. You might even have to pay on top of it.

Not Recommended. The view is wonderful but not worth the rent. The rent is very overpriced for the service (repairs, office assistance, packages) and amenties (gym or lack there of, security, garage and parking) provided by the Landings staff and Equity.

not recommendable. Great views, overpriced rent, cheap construction quality, paper thin ceilings, not quiet, not worth the money

bad service. I know a living space is not just about service, but with my two years experience there, they are not nice compare to money that you pay. For 2 years, I had water problem 3 times, maybe more in future, no security camera in parking lots(you know what usually happens in there), and more. If you can afford that much, go find other nice apt.

If you wanna know what I'm talking about, try to move in.
