Favorite Neighborhood Joint.
If it's a first date and you're looking to make a top notch impression...cross Broadway and go to the Garden Cafe or the Moroccan Place, the name of which always escapes me.
If it's date number five, you've dropped the unecessary pleasantries and are willing to be in unscripted conversations that have not been previously cherry picked from your daydreams to prove that you are the perfect date, then go to the Kilt.
It's not fancy, but it's real, the beer is cheap, the food is decent, the bartenders smile and wear ties and it's a great place just to be yourself.

Great burger, great bar.
The burgers here are amonog the best in the city, if not the best. Juicy, fresh meat with fresh toppings prepared perfectly.
But while people know this place for the burgers, the bar is equally good if you're in the mood for an old school Irish pub. The bartenders are friendly, the drinks priced right and the mood friendly in a pleasantly drunk way.
