Horrible experience!.
My friend and I walked in the place and started our drinks few minutes before 10PM.
At 10PM the bouncer came up and ordered to remove my baseball hat or leave because the place has unwritten rules no baseball heads and no hoodies and supposedly everybody knows about these rules.
I said:
1. I was not aware of such rules and he had to tell us in advance when we walked in that they have such rules,
2. I asked to show me the sign with the rules (there were non except for No smoking, No dancing)
3. it's custom for me to cover my head in public places
4. since I already paid and started my drink let us finish our drinks and we will leave.
He took off my drink, returned the money and said I cannot stay there.
So if you are willing to ruing your Saturday night, be humiliated in from of the friends and strangers you will be in right place.
In a few minutes you will be able to experience the rules of the bouncer who is happy to
exercise his own unwritten rules and authority on anyone who does not fit the profile of regulars.

HUge ROD!. So, I have been regularly going to monkey on thursday and Saturday nights.. Its SOOOOO fun.. Great Atmosphere! Good music, and people are cool! Most importantly, the Bartender on the weekends is So F*ing Hott!! I swear When he walked around the bar to use the bathroom, I saw a huge bulge in his pants... Im talking major Package!! Yummm! Go, see for yourself!

Crazy Times Good People. One of my favorite place in the neighborhood. Regulars are funny and entertaining, and the weekend crowd is CRAZY AND FUN. Lots of fun pop, hip hop, dance, and latin music. They have some of the friendliest, funniest, staff in the neighborhood. Also their weekend bartender is the BEST LOOKING GUY I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! This place is a must go, you'll have a blast.

good (and only) neighborhood bar.
Pretty dead Sunday through Thursday and Friday and Saturday until 1:00 but then it gets packed. Good beer and liquor selection. Always seems that someone is having a birthday party there.
Cons: Music is too loud and always the same (hip-hop, Spanish) one of the fews bars with no jukebox.
Pros: Beautiful girls although some nights the guy/girl ratio is like eight to one.

Great Game.
