Can't beat the price. Some of the furniture is traditional in a non-stylish way, but some of the other stuff is perfectly simple, and a lot of the pieces bear in mind the cramped space within a NYC apartment (like the platform bed with the optional fitting drawers). I've had an unfinished bookcase for at least three years now and it's fine (meant to paint it myself but haven't as yet gotten around to it). For furniture that is solidly built you can't beat the price.

Compliments on the furniture. craftmanship very good, quality good, delivery good, over all can't say any thing bad. I gotten compliments on the furniture. Happy costomer!

Made of real wood. I love furniture that is really made from wood, so we went to Gothic to get my son a Captain's Bed. We got it several years ago and it still looks brand new. It's made of real wood and is extremely heavy. It was unfinished and we had to pay extra to have it finished in the shade we wanted. The bed was too big to fit up our stairs, and I didn't know what I was going to do, but they people who delivered it cut it in half and put it back together in my son's room. You can hardly see where it was cut. It looks great and is very sturdy.

I'm thrilled with the quality.
I walked in to this location after finding a table at the Murray Hill location that I liked.
I found the same table, but they weren't able to deliver for about 1 week at a fee of $35. I explained that I could pick up as I lived around the block. The nice young guy that worked there agreed to sell me the floor model for 10% off and he would carry it to my apartment immediately. And so he did! I'm thrilled with the quality of the furniture, but mostly for the customer service. I would come back and highly recommend for their service.

I love the fold out table. Ordering was easy. The people I spoke to on the phone were great. The delivery guy was the best I've ever had. Wish he delivered all my stuff. He carried up the table 3 flights of stairs, took it out of box put it together and took the box away all with a smile. THE best!! Plus I love the fold out table with the chairs inside - a must have for NYC living!!

Knowledgeable explanation. I have had the pleasure of dealing with George with regard to the design, construction and delivery of a new platform bed and credenza for my apartment. The experience was excellent and rather unique. Little did I know when first walking into your store that my salesman would be a talented and energetic CCNY architecture student. What luck! George was immediately attentive and insightful. I explained my needs; George professionally showed me what I watned. His designs took time; talent takes time. George drew and talked me through the process. As an attorney, I fully understand that one can go immediately to the drawing board and satisfy a client's particular needs. On the other hand, one can take time, make changes, think it through, expand the box of consideration - and create. George did just that. George suggested - strongly, I might add, and rightfully so - that I be a part of the process. With each modification to his plans, George insisted that I be informed (both in person and by email), accompanied by George's usual knowledgeable explanations. As the two pieces were being finished, George had me visit your workshop in Queens to review the work. I am more than pleased with the outcome. George was spon on with regard to the design, the dimensions, and specifications. George is proud of his work - and he should be. His ethic and his caring are to be admired.

I highly recommend to work with Gothic. My experience with Gothic's custom made furniture service was simply outstanding in all respects from beginning to end. Vagelis, a representative from Gothic, personally traveled to my house, discussed my specifications for a custom made piece, negotiated a mutually agreeable price, and took all the requisite measurements for my project. Vagelis remained in contact with me throughout the entire fabrication process and sent images of the furniture piece I ordered as it was in the workshop. I highly recommend to any prospective customer that if he/she has a particular vision for a furniture piece they would like to create work with Gothic to make it a reality. Once finances permit, I will definitely contact Gothic for another custom made project in the future. Thanks
