“This place is not good on service.”
Worst Service I have ever experienced. El Conde restaurant has excellent food but the worst service ever. Every order that i have oredered as take out is never correct and then if you call to complain you have to put up with the attitude of the non speaking English waitresses who should actually be serving food to the monkeys at the Bronx Zoo. A note to mangement keep your chef and hire all new staff if you want to stay in business,. Whatever happened to the "Customer is always right"
Best Arroz con Pollo and Skirt steak ever!. This place is not good on service. A bit of disorganization, and they just don't know how to do it professionally. So if those type things realllllly get on your nerves, don't come. But if you want good food. Come here. The is the best Arroz con Pollo I have ever had. I had that, and my cousin got the skirt steak... Great taste and flavors... WOW, great! The portions are very large so two to three people can eat off of one dish. Love it!!!! I will be back. Not to mention the eye candy in and around this place... Good looking men...!!! This is a Dominican Resturant. If you don't speak spanish or understand anything, you might be in trouble. They not really trying to speak a lot of english... but it's all good. I can see this place becoming in to a little club at night. They have a fully stocked bar and many drinks to offer.... I can see this place poppin off in the summer.... I'll be back for sure..!
This is not a Mexican restaurant!!!!.
Please don't believe the category in which this restaurant is listed here. This is a Dominican restaurant! You will find the best churrasco IN ALL OF MANHATTAN AND ANYWHERE NEAR! I am not talking from my heart when I say this; there is nothing particularly special about this place, but the truth must be said. I have eaten churrascos in many places, big and small, and this is without a doubt the best I have ever had.
I cannot comment on other dishes, but they certainly look good. The service is standard; don't expect to be received with a smile and professioanlism...just asked to be seated and ask for what you want.
I also recommend the cortadito, a espresso with just enough steamed milk to "cut" the sourness of the coffee.
