“AVOID if you want to save money, have warm good food and get what you ordered and not something that looks and tastes like sh@*&!”
Closed?!?.
I LOOOOOOVE Uncle Marky's (used to be called Organic Harvest). But what happened? I've recently tried to order online and by phone and everything is disconnected. Did they close down?!
I'll miss their amazing cheesecake...truly the best vegan dessert I've had.
Huge menu & knowledgable staff =Very GOOD for you. I did eat here, but not a good place for groups. The menu is so extensive that I will be ordering for friends and just have this delivered. I love the smoothies! No 1 was rude at all, so I don't know what the last person did to get that impression. I love this place!!
RIP OFF and RUDE OWNER!. Horrible Horrible place and mean, rude service!! AVOID AVOID AVOID getting ripped off!!! I ordered lunch, the food arrived 45 minutes late and absolutely cold. Also, for $25 bucks they gave me 3 pieces of carrots and five pieces of broccoli and a tiny serving of salmon. I also ordered a blueberry and banana smoothie, and the entire thing looked brown, lumpy and looked like sewage water (completely lacked any blueberries). However, when I called to complain, they put me on hold for five minutes but I could still hear the conversation and I heard the guy say they didn't have any blueberries and only raspberries because of the season or something. When the guy finally got on the phone, and I told him the issue, he started to get angry and yell on the phone talking about how 45minutes is standard delivery time so what if the food is cold. Also, when asked about why they didn't tell me they didn't have any blueberries, he said he put blueberries in my drink even though I heard him tell another customer that they didn't have any. And clearly, a thick brown sh** colored liquid couldn't possibly have blueberries. At least if you mess up on the food, be nice on the phone about it instead of a real a@@. AVOID if you want to save money, have warm good food and get what you ordered and not something that looks and tastes like sh@*&!
Expensive but good. Organic food is always expensive, but it's good. I had the Indonesian wrap.
Favorite Delivery. As I work long hours and frequently order out, this is where I go to. I love the food but then again, I'm the type of person that genuinely loves vegetables. I recommend the Indian dish, salmon, and all the soups. The sprout salad is good but only with that yummy carrot dressing. I do not recommend the stir fry though (the veggies were a bit mushy). I've also been there to pick up food and the place is tiny so it is not recommended for a sit down meal.
Stop and smell the saitan.
Look, I'm your tipical 9-5 junk food/pizza guy who could think of nothing less apetizing than a plate of squash with a side of hummus. But on the advice of some locals, i checked out Organic.
FANTASTIC! Seriously. While they have everything a card carrying vegan would require for foodstuffs, I found the food tasty and will return everytime I'm even near 3rd Ave and 53rd.THe Big Daddy saitan is great, and the smoothie things are outstanding.
Bottom Line: Great food, great taste and great menu.
AWESOME VEGAN FOOD. I stumbled upon this resteraunt on my way home from the subway. Not only did they have amazing, sandwiches, soup, pizza etc, but their homemade sorbets are out of this world! I must for vegans, vegetarians, and even meat eaters. Try the Peanut Butter Sorbet and the pizza with soy cheese!
