Great Clothes, Great People – I’ve been a fan of Gap jeans for years, which is why I always come here. The staff is really friendly, too. The last time I was in, my size wasn’t on the shelf so I asked one of the girls to help me. She didn’t seem put out like a lot of other stores would have been. She was gone for just a few minutes and came back with three different styles, all in my size.
Gap - Price is worth it – I love Gap for my staples: simple tank tops, cardigans, flip flops, the occasional top. And of course, my absolute favorite: the zippered hoodie. I don't know how they do it, but it's so nice and soft on the iniside, super comfortable and yet looks pretty good (it's never gonna be chic, it's a hoodie, but somehow this one manages to be somewhat flattering.) It's so great for layering in the winter.?
It helps that the prices are mostly decent and they're absolutely great when they have sales going on - which basically seems to be all the time. There is always some sort of a promotion going on - when it's not 30 - 50% off, it's buy one get one free or half off, etc. You just have to know to look for them, because obviously they try to put the sales items in the back of the store. But when you do find them, you can get amazing deals - I just got a tank top 50% off the already reduced price, which came out to 5 bucks. You can't argue with that....??
My one complaint about this location is that, like every other store in this neighborhood, it can be insanely crowded with tourists. As a result, the employees get pretty harried and wait times can be overly long, which is definitely annoying. But hey, that's to be expected in this area, I guess.
Sticking to the basics has allowed this clothing store to flourish with its khaki-turned-vibrant color palette and comfortable materials. – In Short
Fall into this all-American clothing store, whose crisp white interior houses a variety of clothing basics, all subtly stylish and classically chic. While once a world of earthen-toned khaki pants and button-downs, today the store has embraced feminine detailing for women, vintage-y T-shirts for guys and a bright color scheme, creating an all-around modern meets classic vibe. Obliging employees are eager to help shoppers build outfits and find clothing to suit each personal preference. Although the moniker is originally derived from the generation gap between young children and adults, branch stores like GapMaternity and BabyGap allow the clothing chain to cater to every age group.
