up!! That's it!!
Dov has been my only hair cutter, stylist for 2 plus decades.
I travel to NYC to see him from wherever I am living - Hawaii, Southern California, Texas, Western NY - there is no other once Dov works his magic. Every person in the salon is like part of a family and you can count on anyone giving you an honest opinion, whether it be about your natural look or about a wig. Dov's wigs are something to behold. No other compare to the authentic, natural look and feel of his hand-crafted marvels. There is no chance to take here, just do yourself a favor and let Dov work his magic for an even better 'you'!

I truly cannot say enough good things
about Dov... To start, he has been the only hair stylist I will have cut my hair despite living in Texas! My mother has been coming to Dov for over 25 years, and even as a young child I wouldn't let anyone else cut my hair. Apparently it resulted in a bit of a scene in the FAO Schwartz children's salon... No one else even remotely competes with the quality and beauty of his work.
After dealing with chronic disease for over 10 years, which would normally have resulted in thinned and weakened hair, Dov was always able to work his magic and keep my hair healthy and full of body. We have lived as far away as Hawaii, and always look forward to a yearly trip back to the eastcoast to see Dov!
Dov is an absolute genius and master when it comes to every aspect of hair care. You will never have to specify what "works" or "doesn't work" for your face shape, because he always knows. You can rest assured that during a visit to Dov's salon, you can relax in knowing that the result will be more beautiful than you could have imagined, and that you will leave feeling like the goddess you are!

My life has changed since coming to DOV Salon a few months ago. I have been slowly losing my hair over the past few years. It became hard to look in the mirror and feel beautiful. Since getting my topper, which is beautiful (brunette and curly), I have noticed my confidence rise significantly. I actually think I look good leaving the house. The hair is high quality and looks fantastic. I would 100% recommend Dov.

Dov is truly a genius. I went to him on a recommendation when my hair started falling out due to medication three months before my wedding. Because of the short timeframe and not knowing how much hair I would lose, we opted for a wig. He not only made me an amazing wig, but also did a beautiful job cutting and coloring my hair so that the hair loss was less noticeable and I didn't feel like I had to wear the wig all of the time. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received on my hair from people who had no idea I was wearing a wig. Thanks to Dov, I truly felt beautiful for all of the wedding events and my honeymoon.

What a wonderful experience it has been going to Dov's salon. I truly feel he is a genius and has changed my life. I would cry at my thinning hair on top and be miserable every time I had to wash it to see all the hair in the shower going down the drain. I went to Dov in May and he advised on a topper. It is stunning. He told me what color to get and I can't believe how natural it looks. No one can believe its me. I would go back to him tomorrow and highly recommend him. He is a genius!

An artist-a master at the craft of styling and wigs. I went to consult with DOV about 2 years ago. I presented with thinning hair and an unusual color of platinum blonde/white. The unique hair color presented challenges in consturcing/customizing a wig (topper). DOV not only came through with the wig but has maintained it in excellent condition and made a replacement when hair was lost. DOV works to please and satisfy coustmers and is not staisfied himself until the costomer is satisfied. He responds immediately when asked for assistance. He combines a professional demeanor with a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the salon. When you are in the salon you feel special as total attention is given to your hair care and styling concerns. Whatever your hair care needs, give DOV a call and your problems will be solved!!

Blonde Again. I went to Dov a few weeks ago because I have been losing hair for over a year and thought it was time to consider a topper. Dov was so wonderful to deal with. He talked with me and told me that it was not yet time for a topper and that my hair had good coverage. We decided I would wait but he did show me a topper and how it would look so I know I have options if the problem continues. We did decide on highlights and what a difference in my appearance. I've had highlights in the past but the color and the way it blends with my natural color is amazing! Thanks Dov for making me feel comfortable with my hair again! I still worry when I see strands fall but I now know I have options. I am so glad I made this trip into NYC and I can't wait to go back to Dov!

Great Haircut!. Totally worth it. He'll give you a really great cut and color! I have spent so much time and money going to others and now I won't stray--he's fantastic. If you're hair is thinning he'll give you a cut that makes it look thicker. I think I have finally found the haircutter for me.
