First thing for anybody interested in Dreadlocks by Randi -- the address is 151 Ridge Street (between E Houston and Stanton) and NOT Rivington St!

Now the logistics are out of the way, I must say I loved my experience at Dreadlocks by Randi. Professional but funky, clear communication and instructions on how to care for my new and developing dreads, and a boost to my confidence as I work in an office though have been trying to get a clearer definition to my hear. Randi and her crew were wonderful--the free assessment before I had the twisting, the time while there and instructions before I left, and the patience and humor each time I nervously called with care questions since my first visit.

Yes, I am headed back for ongoing care and continued washing and twisting. Thanks for your humor and sensitivity, Randi. Keep up the great work welcoming the diversity of everyone who wants to explore the wonderful world of dreads.

I have wanted dreadlocks for a while.i was going to do it on my own,but then i decided that i wanted it done by a professional,so I stated looking for one.

in my research i ran across dreadlocks by Randi.I went into the site saw that a famous dominican singer tono rosario has done his hair at dreadlocks by Randi.on that moment I made of my mind to do my dreads there.

I kept navigating the site and look at her work I chose to do dreadlocks extensions.I went to there spoke to Randi and ask her to make an appointment to do them as soon as possible and made my appointment for the following week.

while Randi was doing my hair she told me that tono might pass by to make an appointment.At first i thought she was just telling me this because I because i told her that he was the reason why I chose her place.in the middle of Randi doing my hair tono rosario walked in which made my experience more excited.Not only I had to meet an dominican celebrity and take pictures but also I was very satisfied with my lock and how they looked.

I been receiving a lot of complements of how nice and nite my dreadlocks look and I loving it.I really had a nice experience at dreadlocks by Randi and I highly recommend Randi if you looking to do dreadlocks.

Snuggled in the concrete jungles of NYC; the hair industry has a hidden jewel; a talent that everyone should know about. Her name is Randi and I HIGHLY recommend her.

As I sat in her chair last evening, I was amazed at her unique talent and technique of repairing my locs. This lady is on point!! With many years of experience in the business, she has a talent NO ONE can even come close to and she knows EXACTLY what she's doing.

Let's keep it real... If your hair is looking busted & disgusted; no matter what the texture or type... please give Randi a call. You will not be disappointed. She has a GOD-given gift like no other.

... but I will tell you. Don't call or come with your drama. This isn't the place for it. When she ask you questions about your hair or tells you what you should do prior and after she works her wonders on it... do EXACTLY what she tells you. As I heard her say last evening to a potential client: "... there's a method to my madness" ... but as I see it, her methods aren't mad; they're EXCELLENT!!!

She was absolutely amazing and straight to the point when it came to prices and the relationship that we would have when it comes to my hair. She takes care of you, makes you laugh and does one HELL OF A JOB! I was just with her yesterday and she stood up until the next day doing my hair and making sure I didn't look a hot mess. You can tell she loves what she does and honestly has your best interest when it comes to your dreads.

Randi has the patience of a saint! I came in with my hair a mess, brought the wrong hair dye that didn't take even though she suggested what I needed and then I had to run to the drug store to get the correct dye. She patiently waited for me and dyed my hair again. After the dye job, she twisted my locs and showed me how I was twisting them wrong.

She's amazing! I had a good time in her shop. Randi is fast, efficient and her shop has a warm, comfortable feel to it. I was very honored to meet Mr. Pee Wee, the dog. He is the cutest thing. He doesn't hang out in the store but I got to meet him at the end of my session.

Get your locs done here. Randi will hook you up! The only minor thing is that she uses mineral oil but I never discussed this with her. I told her that I make my own hair oil and she never said that I was doing the wrong thing so just ask about it and work it out between you and her. I'm sure there will be no hassle.

I walked out of her shop looking like Queen Diva and I feel like a diva! Thank you, Randi. I'll be back for that root wrap soon!

WHAT! I am from Orlando FL, however now live in NJ. I was referred by my previous stylist to Randi. I must say, a taxi cab, then the train another taxi then hoofing it on foot was well worth it. My hair looks amazing, and I had the best time. VERY clean warm inviting environment. I don't know her sidekicks name, but she twisted my hair up in no time. One of the most enjoyable hair experiences I have ever had. Totally recommend.

Amazing Experience!!!! I have wanted dreadlocks for awhile but I just hadn't found the right person to do it. Then while doing research online I found dreadlocks by Randi. The whole experience was simply AMAZING! From our initial conversation on the phone, to the consiltation, to actually getting dreadlock extensions, Randi was professional, skillfull, and just an all around beautiful soul. I am more than just impressed with her skills, I am also very happy with the end result. While I was getting my hair done, I had the great pleasure of meeting Pee Wee the resident mascot, which only added more warmth to the great experience. Thank you Randi for the transformation. If you need anything done in regards to dreads, Randi is the only shop that caters to everyone. I highly recommend stopping by, you will be as satisfied as I am.

Incredible!!!!. I'm a frequent traveler who has been to many places and encountered different people within the customer service realm but recently I had the pleasure of meeting the two most amazing professional females. Dreadlocks by Randi is much more the a Lock salon, Randi goes above and beyond for her clients and the environments makes you feel like you've never left home. It's clean professional and caters to the client in the chair my dreads took 15hrs an it felt like just another day spent with friends. I truly appreciate the chance to meeting her walked in as a client and felt that I walked out with new friends and AWESOME/AMAZING dreads. Many can try but highly doubt they would come even close to Dreadlocks by Randi.

Best experience EVER!!! Love my lock Extentions!!!. What can I say about "Dreadlocks by Randi" besides that it’s the BEST IN THE CITY and maybe even the country in my opinion. Randi has a personal touch that makes the work that she does priceless. For her it’s not about the money it’s about the quality and she won't let you leave until she feels she's given you her best. Randi takes a pride in the dreads that she creates that is unmatched. I went to get dreadlock extensions to my shoulders and the work took 15 hours. The conversation was engaging and her personality will keep you smiling the whole time you’re in her chair. Being there for that long I got to see some of her other clients come and go and they all have nothing but love and praise for their loctician as do I. I absolutely LOVE MY NEW DREADS and I couldn't imagine letting anyone else handle my locs from now on. THANK YOU RANDI YOUR ONE OF A KIND.

Came from Afghanistan. I got off the plane from a WAR ZONE and into Randi's chair. After conversing by email and phone, having her adjust her schedule several times to accommodate me, finally i was there. In a foreign land once again because I am from SC. Randi re-constructed a ripped up situation. I mean my HAIR. My locks were a DISATER. From stress and just living in a war zone for 2 years. She went to work and now my hair looks great. She was very polite and patient with me as i kept falling to sleep, because i was so tired. She made my hair look FANTASTIC!

What was the best part, was after her job was finished she made sure i got home safe! to me thats more than a stylist, thats a GREAT PERSON! Thank you Randi, I wish you much success in everything you do!
