Perfect Neighborhood Hangout. I've been going to Coppersmith's for years and was hoping to keep it my little secret, but over time it's become clear that the secret is out, so I figure it's time I finally put my two cents in. If you're looking for a place just to hang out with friends, have a beer and a burger, and catch a game or two, Coppersmith's is the place for you. The food is quite good - especially the wings - and the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly but not obsequious - they're as likely to engage in some good-natured banter as any of the customers. But despite this familiarity, the service is still quick and professional. Coppersmith's isn't a "club", it's not a "lounge", it's not trendy or hip - it's just a bar, and a good one at that, my bread-and-butter hangout. There's no better place to go for a drink or three to unwind after a long day.
awesome hangout!. Ive been here several times with my twenty-somthing friends, and it has always been an awesome place to drink beers and hang out! the wings are awesome, and the people who work there are too.
Best Happy Hour!!!. Hands down Coppersmiths is the best place to go after work. The staff is quick with a drink and the wings are out of this world. Our happy hours tend to run into the wee hours of the morning bc this place is so damn fun. Oh I almost forgot to give a shout out to the excelerator hand dryers...they are life changing.
best on the westside. i've gone with big groups (10+ ppl) the last few times i was there and had a great time. the chow was great and the drinks were even better. we all loved our waitress, she was a sweetheart. cant wait for football and the mlb playoffs to start! go birds!
mediocre- rude management. There really is nothing about this place that distinguishes it from any other Irish pub in midtown. The food is pretty bland and there are no exotic beers on tap. They do have some decent deals during the week if you happen to stumble in on the right night. The blonde old irish lady behind the bar however, was extremely curt and rude with some fellow patrons. I saw her rolling her eyes at everyone. I later found out she is the manager. No way to manage a bar....
Really like this neighborhood Joint!. Went here with a group of friends to watch a football game. Nice beer selection, good apppetizers to munch on and the service was excellent. That's all I'm looking for in a neighborhood joint. We'll be back!
Average. Certainly one of the more mediocre Sunday night football experiences, although the staff were nice. They need bigger tv's
A Can't Miss. With a great staff and friendly inviting atmosphere, Coopersmith's is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a "real" New York bar. As soon as you walk through the doors you get the feeling you belong in the tradition of the classic Irish Pub. No big egos, no hassles, just a great time. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Whether it's stopping by on the way home from work or spending in afternoon watching the games, you'll never be sorry you ended up at Coppersmiths. It also great for having a private party either in the main bar or in the separate party room.
Always a great time. Whether its w/ my girlfriend, a few buddies or my whole crew Coppersmiths is always a great time. Compared to the rest of the West side spots Coppersmiths stands alone as a Clean and friendy pub w/ great bar food and super friendly staff. Unlike the dark dirty attitude ridden taverns of Hells Kitchen, Coppersmiths is by far one of my favorite places to Grab a fresh pint, watch the game or chow down.
JRD. Great bar to watch a game. Thursday nights seem to pack it in, and bring a fun, good looking, down-to-earth crowd. Friendly service, and attentive bartenders make this one a good choice all around.
