Racist Hotel. I had the most horrific experience here. My entire vacation was ruined due to Racist employees at the hotel. I would never recommend staying at this hotel. I never received a response from the management, and now I feel harassed by emails that have been sent to me by an employee that lied about her position as a Manager, when in all actuality she was a front desk supervisor. I have never felt so humiliated in all my life. I must admit that there were a couple of employees that should be commended for their excellent hospitality, but its a shame that they have to be misrepresented by the staff members that displayed such unacceptable behavior. I truly hope that the owners of this establishment consider some formal training to those who were involved in this incident and reprimand them.
Romantic place. I stayed in this Hilton a while back. Other than the Hilton and the Staten Island hotel there are no other nice hotels on SI. I think the Hilton is more fancy. I stayed in a king romm that had a whirlpool in it. I thought that the room was very nice. I do not remember much about this hotel so I will not write a big review.
Awful!!!. This is the WORST Hilton I've ever stayed at. Save your sanity-- stay at the Staten Island Hotel. At least there's some life around it. The Garden Inn is completely isolated from civilisation. Staff are incapable of taking care of the most ordinary of tasks. They gave me the wrong departure time on the ferry, so I missed my train home! They don't know anything about public transit on the island. The manager was supposed to call me and never did. The workout room is attached to the pool, so you breathe chlorine fumes while you're trying to be healthy. You're forced to eat pricey mediocre food because there's nowhere else within 10 miles! I spent 10 hellish days there for work and I'm still recovering.
