“But the last time I visited this place the food was awful.”
“The service was also poor.”
“Visit this really nice Bangladesh eating spot for a quick meal with fast service and professional staff or take out some Bangladeshi sweets”
I love their food. Decor needs an update, but food is delish and the place is cozy. You can't beat their weekend all you can eat, $10 per person, tons of food. Insane!!!
MMMM. I LOVE indian food and my husband and I were looking for some take-out one night to just have a picnic and watch a movie with. We loved what we had so we decided to go and eat @ Seva and the food was even better stay in! The lamb spring rolls rocked my world (just the right amount of spice) and the Lamb apricot curry dish is my favorite (can you tell I like lamb) It is a nice cozy little place with the colorful pendants handing from the ceiling, which I love. Great cozy place for a cold or rainy night ; ) We are actually ordering take-out from there tonight again, definitely our go to for Indian in the area and the prices are very nice.
Excellent find in Astoria!. I just discovered Seva last month. Have to say, I have missed Indian food since moving to Astoria; especially affordable Indian food. Seva is the perfect place! Their lunch specials are amazing and extremely affordable ($7 for entree, soup, rice and dessert!) and prix fix dinner is great too. The service is what stands out the most. Our waiters have been wonderful and their take out is outstanding. Large portions and excellent delivery! The owner is gracious and polite; thanking us for our patronage upon our visit. I will ONLY order and eat at Seva when the Indian food craving hits. Thank you!
What happened?.
I use to eat here all the time because their malai kufta was my favorite in astoria. But the last time I visited this place the food was awful.. the worst Indian food I've ever ate. I don't know what happened, maybe they switched ownership??
The malai kofta tasted like raw carrots and smelled like flower scented airfreshener. The service was also poor. It seemed like they were more interested in carry-out and delivery orders than eat-in. Also, our food came out before we got our tea. And the tea was nothing special.
