After reading the previous post, I had to share my own experience with Flowers On First. I have recently placed an order for delivery and have used your services before many of times. I wanted to take the time to say that I have received excellent service from Flowers On First and that your products are also superb. Since living in New York for a few years and never used you as a florist until a friend sent me an arrangement from you. It was beautiful. Ever since then (for my personal and business) I have used you as my primary florist. Your arrangements are unique and stunning and I have had no problems with my orders. I have used other internet florists and have had problems with the delivery, which ruined the gift/surprise for friends. So - Thank You!!! Robin-
Bait and Switch!

I really should have read yelp reviews before I ordered from them... not sure what I was thinking! Citysearch and google both have a lot of VERY QUESTIONABLE reviews. There are a lot of duplicate (inflated) reviews as well, leading me to believe the owner is leaving high ratings to try and save the business.
Here is the email I sent after my new employee received the flowers I had ordered for her.
"Hi There,
I wanted to let you know that I received my order and while the arrangement is nice, its really not at all what I had ordered.
Your French garden bowl 3 shows purple anemone or purple poppys, white/green parrot tulips, ranunculus and white lilac and possibly white waxflower. What I received however is white hydrangea, purple kale and purple orchid. I believe the value is similar in the arrangement that I received however I really would not have ordered this combination of flowers had I known what I was going to get.
I had also asked NOT to have substitutions made if something was out of stock so am surprised by what I received.
I would like to know how to avoid this in the future. I realize that sometimes substitutions must be made however the only thing similar about the arrangement that I received and the one I ordered were the colors.

I received no reply and will not bother chasing them down for answers. What I will do is post this review on every ratings page that I can find this company on.
Don't bother ordering from them, listen to the negative advice here and save your money.

I just want to thank you again for the wonderful job you and your staff had done on the order for the Zuckermans. Not only did you absolutely surprise them, but the flowers were GORGEOUS! I saw them! Thank you also for the great communication. It really showed professionalism! We will definitely think of FlowersOnFirst again!!!!

TOTAL DESAPOINTMENT

On Valantine's Day I wanted to impresse my broyfriend and ordered a beautiful Orquid on Flowers On First. What a disapointment when my boyfriend send me the picture of what he had received. Let's forget that it was not at all like the one I ordered, (all flower shops have an "availability " term). They sent a plant with a CUT FLOWER!!!! terrible and such a bad taste. They cannot understimate the customers like that. The worst part is yet to come: The Customer Service man... what can I say.. I'm in the customer service business in one of the Top 500 companies, so I know about the subject. He was bitter, disrespectful, interrupeted me and didn't even try to make me feel better, he even hanged up the telephone and yelled at me, can you believe it!!! When this kind of things happen, you feel so bad, abused and taken advatage of. I'm not just only spent 100USD in a cut flower, I coudn't made a good impresion in my BF. Really sad about that, but even more seing how customers are being taken advantage of.
