Rude rude rude!. There was a "back in 5 minutes" note on the door when I brought my lamps in for repair, and I ended up waiting 20 minutes.

Then they took longer than expected to complete the repair, and they charged more than their estimate, and they only take cash.

The first time I went to pick the lamps up, they had left another "back in 5" note on the door. This time I did not have time to wait.

Then, worst of all, they called and left a message threatening to charge a storage fee if I did not come to pick up the lamps.

A STORAGE FEE! I suggest staying away from this place if you don't want to deal with their heavy-handed attitude. They are extremely rude.

(I have a feeling the reason they only accept cash is that others have been very unhappy with their work.)

Expect the unexpected!. Who would ever believe the array of treasures in this small but extremely well stocked lighting store. After searching through a miriad of common place and mass produced

lamps, I happened upon Filaments after attending a movie next door. What a delightful surprise. My home now reflects the unique and special accent pieces that I thought I would have to travel to Europe for. The prices were exactly as quoted and the job was delivered on time.

Great lamp store!. This store has a many lamps that are moderately priced, especially if you are looking for a retro modern type lamp but don't want to spend thousands on a vintage restored lamp. There are a lot of floor lamps and beautiful table lamps with drum shades. Most of the ones I was looking at were around $300 to $400. Definitely worth a stop.

stay in the dark. after agreeing to spend almost $500 to have two antique lamps restored, we ended up with one lamp that didn't work AT ALL and another that was irreparably broken. when confronted about the damage, management insisted that it was already there. we had to negotiate to refuse payment on damaged lamp. completely awful experience.
