Manor Moving was suggested by my broker, who had past clients who were pleased with the service. I must admit, it wasn't the first moving company I called, but it was the RIGHT moving company to call. From the first phone call to inquire about the service to the very end, I was pleased with Manor Moving.

1) Price quote - I gave Omer a list of what I was moving, where I was moving from/to (Harlem/Piscataway, NJ), and when I wanted to move. He was able to give me a quote that was on point except for the wardrobe boxes I decided to purchase when the movers arrived. The cost was added to my quoted price and that was it. So, no surprises with the final cost.

2) Movers - Professionalism personified!! Supervisor Terrell and his crew, Rashad and Rory, were better than I had hoped for. They were very pleasant and worked well together. I received a call about an hour before they were expected to arrive. Since it was raining I was hoping it wasn't a call to say they were delayed. It wasn't. The call was to reconfirm the 9:am move, and they arrived on time and ready to work. They took an assessment of everything they would be moving, and went into action. No need for me to micromanage. They packed with care and let me know if they encountered a problem. One small knob from an old piece of furniture accidentally fell off and they came right to me and told me about it. It was no big issue, but I appreciated that act of responsibility. My piano was perhaps the most challenging piece of furniture they had to move. I watched them check, and double check the security of the piano to the dolly before they left the apartment. It arrived in NJ without a scratch! Overall, these men did an extraordinary job of packing and unpacking my belongings. I was very happy.

I highly recommend Manor Moving. And I'm sure Terrell, Rashad and Rory represent the other movers as far as professionalism goes, but if you want to be sure of a really great crew, ask for them by name.

If you are looking for a good moving company, you can stop here. We were referred to Manor Moving by friends who have used them quite a few times for the past decade. We have a full house with a full family and these guys just made everything very easy and even fun. Our kids loved to be around the movers to see them pack and move all out furniture and belongings. The (the movers) did so with grace and professionalism. the whole process from the booking, to their arrival, packing and unloading was seamless. The guys were great! Thanks you Manor moving!!!!

Easy move with the Professional Movers , Super. Excellent Service !!! Manor Moving crew showed up exactly on time , they did a great job of packing and crating our antiques furniture . They were very professional and Careful but super quick. . everything worked out great !! Manor movers crew were helpful, efficient, careful, quick and kind . personal touch and professionalism , they treated me like a first class client !? I got what I paid for and more!!.

DO NOT USE MANOR MOVING. My husband and I suffered an apartment fire as a result of a gas leak in our apartment in Astoria and were forced to move. Manor Moving moved our remaining possessions from Astoria to our new apartment in Long Island City. Already feeling upset and stressed after losing so much to the fire, our remaining possessions were important to us and our new apartment precious. Manor Moving proceeded to chip the hall wall, severely scratch the brand new hardwood floor in multiple areas of the living area and chip our one year old dining table. We immediately notified management of the damage and were engaged in very long telephone conversations that got nowhere. When we got the opportunity to fully unpack we realized Manor Moving had not delivered a very large and expensive mirror as well as several recently professionally framed prints. When we contacted them again were told we were only eligible for .30 cents on the pound.

After repeated discussions, we asked Manor Moving to replace the cost of our move (over $1K) for compensation of all that they damaged and lost. They countered with an offer of $400 which would barely cover the floor damage which has been estimated by our new landlord to be at least $350. They then ceased negotiations.

I am saddened by the damage to our apartment and the possessions lost but trying to move forward. However, I think it of utmost importance for others to be forewarned and avoid using Manor Moving at all costs.

what a great move!. Storage services are great. We have had items stored with Manor Moving and Storage for some time now. The facility is clean, neat and items are very well protected. Every time we requested an item out or into storage, full and efficient service was provided. The company and staff continue to amaze me. Thank you again, Manor Moving and Storage

move on up!. Manor Moving is dependable, efficient and fair. Thank you very much for a smooth move, at a reasonable and agreed upon price. I am now in my new home, in Queens, and happy with all of my items that were taken care of excellently.

second time around just as good, if not better. What can I say? Once again Thanks you Manor Moving. This is our third time moving with Manor Moving and they were great. Now that we are a family with kids our needs got a little more demanding. They handled all our personal items with care: kids items, art work, books, furniture etc... They packed and unpacked all our house so we had minimum to do before and after the move. Thank you!!!!

Just finished using Manor Moving and storage for the second time. First time was easy, and a smaller move, and Zivi was great. They have very hard workers and they get the job done....but---the second time will be the last and when I move in the future I will use someone else.

Again, there guys were terrific, and got the job done in no time flat. Efficient and quick. My beef this time is with management, Zivi and Omer specifically. I was qouted a binding price of 850, and Omer swore I his guys would take everything, flat price, no problem, nothing extra. hell I have the emails to prove it, and that I was upfront and even updated my inventory list to reflect changes, as you should so there are no suprises. He told me not to worry, his guys will take everything.

Come moving day, his guys have a different story, that they are told only to move what is boxed and that is it and no credit cards. Just cash or money order. Uh, ok, so why does Manor give you the option of credit card, only to reject it in favor of up front payment. Hmm. Is it those pesky legal protections credit cards come with??

But I digress. My iron decor was all wrapped and everything, but hard to box, and they almost did not take it. They even seemed reluctant to take my microwave and air conditioners. Seriously. This stuff is pretty standard when moving. Anything not boxed other then furntiure stays. That can add to a lot of extra fees tacked on. The only reason they took items that were not boxed and made sure I kept my flat fee was because I tip well and they know it. Ultimatley, they were my only line of defensive to keep management out of digging further into my wallet. I rather give a good tip to movers who do the labor then management any day.

I understand the workers doing what they are told on moving day, I have no beef with them, my beef is with executives who on moving day are really telling their moving guys to be ruthless or you will be hauling half of your own **** over there. Not cool.

In the future I will give other moving companies an opportunity and not think twice about Manor Moving.

We just completed a long-haul move from Manhattan to Scottsdale, AZ with Manor Moving & Storage. They came highly recommended by our realtor (Prudential Douglas Elliman) in New York. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They provided a very competitive estimate, they stuck to their price, the packing and loading team were outstanding, and the driver and delivery team were the best we have ever had. Many thanks to Manor team: Zvi Manor, Omer Wainberg, Elad Idan, Eddie Namias, and the superstar driver, Itay Komorovski. This was the best move we've ever had (and we've done several), and I would recommend their services without reservation to anyone. Thank you, Manor!!! Great job!!!

I'll never use anyone else. I used Manor first in 2008, and was really impressed at how quick and efficient the movers were.

So when we moved again in 2009, of course we called Manor again, and again, the movers were superfast and just great. Altogether, they made moving as easy as it could possibly have been.

If I ever move again, we will definitely use Manor.
