Friendly staff and chill atmosphere make this place great. They even have some specialty beers, although I always prefer to stick with the regular taps. Any place where the bartendress will welcome you at 1am on a weeknight and start doing shots with you is a fantastic place. Furthermore there are darts and a pool table. This place is never really packed and far from any pretentious crowd you may find elsewhere, definitely a great place to hang.

I didn't even know the name of this bar for the first few months, but since the owner was so friendly from day one, I call it Duke's (his name). I am a local and have thrown parties here, it's a great spot. Duke and staff go out of their way to ensure you have a great time. In a few short months, couches, a pool table, darts and outfoor garden have been added to this gem. If you are in Alphabet City (or on line at Baraza), you should stop in. You may never leave.
