Great student hang out. Great place for students - friendly bartenders and crowd. Awesome wings too. Always come here after a hard exam!

LOVE THE TAYLOR HAM-TATER TOTS-CHEAP BEER-AND CUTE CROWD. I love that this is such a great neighborhood bar! Cute bartenders(Gus/Mike), great consistent food, and so incredibly cheap! PBR's for $2!!! I love coming here too, as a girl, I never get hassled. Theres a great local crowd. LOVE the comic book & sports vibe. Love that they have so many tv's, a GREAT jukebox and nooky-booths. LOVE THIS PLACE

Great Drinks, Sports, and College Girls!!!. Located in the surrounding blocks of NYU, the Lion's Head is a Classic College Bar with CHEAP drinks and GREAT bar food. I've been there about 10 times overall and have never had a bad experience. The bar is full of Sports memorabilia and has over 8 TVs (they're on all the time!!) for the ultimate sports fan. The beers are cheap and depending on what night you go, the drink specials are really a steal. Overall, leave your wallet at home, bring your drinking shoes, and go have a blast at the Head...

Chill and Fun, a real bar.. Been to this bar at least ten times and just love it. The locals here know its a place for friends, cheap food and great beer. There are 10-12 on tap and have excellent happy hour specials. The bar has TV's for watching 'the game' and a back area for more cozy conversation. You dont have a waitress, so you have to order everything at the bar, which is fine. A Ms. Pac-Man game for those into that, plus a dart board. It can get crowded at certain times, but its a bar, so deal. Never had a bad experience. And the wings are pretty good too! All at great prices...

Chill local bar.... Good local bar for cheap eats and booze. Good happy hour specials. Good tv. Good old school games to borrow. Not so good service.

great neighborhood place. Went the first time the other night. Cool place, nice people, cheap prices. A bunch of TV's, good for a game. I will be back.
