OPA ! Nisos IS GREEK ,Unmatchable. The fried calamri and sauce was perfection,the sauteed veggies wereamazing,and finally,the grilled tilapia wasdone sogreek styleandseasoned,OMG ! this does itf or me and when imvisiting my friends and hiswife,in chelsea i always order online at delivery.co m and use promo code CHEE46 to get 20% off online.

Terrible, terrible service!. First time at this restaurant with my wife and 14 month old. Waiting for ever to have our order taken. The waiter came back twice to ask if our drinks had arrived. Then after waiting over an hour for our food, no one seemed to have any idea what the status was. The table of 4 beside us left, then the table of 2 across from us, then we finally gave up and left as well.

I give them a pass :). I thought the service was pretty good. they take care of the little things like bringing you water, pouring your beer for you, etc. The portions were a bit skimpy. But, I give them credit for remembering the old fashioned customs that so many restaurants don't seem to have a clue about anymore. Booze was the real deal, not watered down. I'd go back.

lame. my experience was bad all around. service, food, bar, price. the hostess forgot about us and we sat at the bar for 30 minutes. the service was hurried and unprofessional. they didn;t even have a clue about wine or the menu. our waitress was chinese! and she could barely speak english (at a greek place!) skip it.

So good.... Everyone was so nice and friendly. I ordered Seafood Ravioli and it was excellent. I totally recomend this place in the heart of gay Chelsea!.

Definately a GO. The food was very fresh and atmosphere very friendly and casual. Usually you'd have to go to Astoria for Mediterranean food like this. Highly recommend the seafood!!

Average Food.... My friend and I love the grilled calamari. It's so good we were cravying for more. The Nisos salad was just blend no taste at all. I don't recommend it. We also had a Reb snapper with lobster sauce. It was just okay nothing special about it. If you're planning to visit that restaurant, I would strongly recommend having 2 appertizers instead of a full meal.

Great Calamari. The Grilled Calamari was excellent; a pretty big portion. The fish was kind of dry, the server didn't even ask how I wanted my salmon cooked which was a bit on the dry side. The veggies were fresh and tasty. My friend had the snapper which was a bit too crispy for his tastes. Next time we'll stick to the Calamari and a house salad.
