I brought in an item to be tailored and dry cleaned, emphasizing that I needed it for an event on a particular date, 12 days in the future (and double checking again that the dry cleaning would not add on too much time.)

It was promised to be ready the day before. When I showed up, after they tried to give me someone else's dry cleaning that apparently had the same number as my slip, not only was it not dry cleaned, the tailoring hadn't even been started. The tailor's excuse? "I forgot."

The cashier tried to offer a compromise of having the tailoring done by the following day and skipping the dry cleaning, but tailor said he could not do that either.

For all I know, their services may be excellent, when they remember to do them. But I will not be finding out.

Reliable & Friendly. Since they opened its been my place, mostly their drop off service. Never a serious problem. A few socks go missing but that's it. Truthfully, with the work load, it's amazing the staff gets it right 99% of the time. The fact is, it's their customer service that keeps me coming back. Quite a few times I've dropped off my clothes late but needing it back the same day - no problem. They even remember my name so when I'm in a rush I can just dump it on the counter and hurry on my way. I trust they will weigh it accurately and wash it according to my instructions that are on their computer. They have never let me down.

re: Why so negative. I have been using them for four years without problems. Not sure why the negativity. I would have given four stars, but added an extra as a counterbalance to the others.

Cleaning was fine and the pickup was ok as well.

Not the best block, but I rarely go there.

Worst Dry Cleaning! And rude!. THIS PLACE HARMS YOUR CLOTHES! My dry cleaning came back with stains, nothing was ironed or pressed. One shirt was not even buttoned on the hanger. My clothes looked worse than when I dropped them off. Also, 2 thick big safety pins were in my silk dress, leaving a huge hole. The silk was duller, and the colors not as bright.

And to top it all off, the staff is VERY rude. When I walked in, nobody was at the counter. The lady was outside smoking, and when she came back inside to help me, she told me to get out of her way. Then she made a snide comment about the fact that I was picking up womens' clothing under my husband's name. We share an account!

The WORST Establishment in NYC. Ok Folks -- this is an HONEST to GOD truth about this place... AVOID AT ALLLLLLLLLLL Costs.

The Nastiest staff imaginable .. and the WORST customer service ever. Unless you're absolutely desperate .. (and even then, I would rather wear it with the stain) AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avoid at all costs. Unless the rest of Manhattan explodes in fiery demise and you have absolutely no other options, don't take your laundry here. After calling for 3 hours for my laundry that was supposed to be delivered in 15 minutes, I still am without my comforter. Nice service.
