Spa Okay...
by RealPink
This spa is kind of in the mix.. I thought it lacked a little luster with deco and there were no disposable thongs.. however the scrub was awesome if you dont mind being in the buff..The Massage was very intense. I sorta would have preferred a softer touch but I believe most who love it like to be rubbed hard and with mucho strength... Speaking good english would be need to know when the massage is good as oppose to bad!! I have been to better spas but for the buck and a last minute fix its great!
I really like to be pampered and catered too!!! What really spoiled the refreshing time was being asked for a tip... My visit was a gift and I thought that too be the real surprise.. A tip is just that something extra if one feel the need not a pushed tug of war that becomes embrassing to the customer... Sol should practice better Spa taste the last impression was a very cheap pasty taste.. Hint the money machine in front of the reception desk is a dead give away!!!
Best Spa Ever!

So its my b-day and I decide to pamper myself. I had always passed by Sol and wondered about it. I decide to treat myself to the full body treatment $120 bucks.I had my body scrubbed, seaweed on my face and jesus was that sauna insanely hot but good. Then I had a girl with the softest hands give me a excellent massage. Seriously I have had massages at resorts that werent as good as this. Now as for the rumors about this place? Well yeah they are true (not that i participated) but seriously as just a spa its pretty darn good. If your into that special bonus then hey good for you enjoy, contrary to allot of the judgmental jerks on this site, there is nothing wrong with the big s :)
- Pros: Super Cheap
- Cons: Pretty much nothing
Great scrub but guilt laden pressure for tip. Pity workers!
by Sabrina Hoyle
My birthday Feb., 17, 2010 and my daughter and I go to the city for a Scrub/massage package $120. First time customers. Scrubber did not speak English and masseuse had a few words. Hail and hearty scrub and massage with steam room and sauna. Feeling great afterwards and get to desk. Masseuse also present with receptionist. Though $20 from each of us was a good tip. But receptionist ,"is that all, you need to give more, 2 women, did you not like them". Our smiles vanished and the good feeling we had started to ebb. The masseuse weighed in speaking Korean and looking very cross. "Give more' says the receptionist. Not being rich and needing some money for a snack before taking the long journey home we each came up with an extra $5. Still not satisfied. So, we left feeling guilty. These women worked very hard and they must not get much pay. Maybe they depend on tips. We both felt terrible that we could not afford more money and we were also very concerned for the women. An existential crisis since I am very involved with human rights work and I still feel guilty for the workers. Would have a hard time going back.Feedback?
- Pros: Scrub and massage excellent
- Cons: When leaving, too much pressure and guilt for more tip!
Total Bliss!

You know the saying that good things come in small packages? This couldn't be more true for Spa Sol.
It's small but awesome. It was spa night. The spa down the street where we usually go was booked so we walked into Spa Sol on a whim and were immediately accommodated. I got the body rub and 60min massage. My masseuse was awesome, talked to me about trouble spots and checked in with me throughout to make sure the pressure was right. I was in another place afterwards... soooooo relaaaaaxed. My friend said it was one of the best treatments she'd ever had. Thank you Spa Sol!
- Pros: Great spa
- Cons: Can't think of any
Why get a fake mini treatments at small salons and spas?
by coffeemilk1
when you can get a mind blowingly good real treatments at bigger places! So I've been going to a smaller place around k town. Not gonna name names! :) so long story short, I've got the body scrub and massage package for 120. It was almost a 2 hour process of being pampered! I've never felt this refreshed and rejuvenated ever!! Make sure you ask for the seaweed emollient and the milk cleansing!! Best ever!!!
- Pros: Price, atmosphere, staff
