A DPM that does not know how to treat warts.
by MarshalD
I had a wart on my foot - did a search online and found Dr. Greenblatt, fairly good reviews, and I went to see him.
On the first visit, he looked at my wart and slightly shaved it. Put a cushion pad on and asked me to see him in a week. He also told me that shaving too much will result in a scar, which will be more painful than a wart.
On the second visit, he shaved my wart a little bit more, and asked me to step on some pressure sensing device, and told me that he will customized some shoe inserts for me. I asked how long shall I wear the inserts - he hold me that life time, like some people has to wear glasses. He told me the inserts will come in two weeks and he will call me.
I waited for three weeks, no one called in. I called back and was told the inserts will be ready soon. I called in again in 4 weeks and again in 5 weeks and got the same answer. On the sixth week - I received a Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company, telling me that the claim for these inserts were declined. I am not sure if he ever made the inserts, but I never received it and my insurance company received the claim.
I gave up in treating with him and had the wart on for another few weeks - it became much more painful during the 2-3 months that I could barely walk. I went to see another doctor that had little reviews. She made a plan and treated my wart well. It is completely gone after 2.5 month's of treatment (3 office visits in total). I will never need to wear any inserts. I was told that during the time I spent with Dr. Greenblatt, my wart grow much larger, otherwise, it would take shorter time to get treated. I was also told that a wart will never gone by shaving only. I did not give him one or zero star because he did not give me the inserts so that I have a chance to get my wart healed instead of ....
He does have good sense of humor but he is a doctor rather than a comedian.

I had a fungal infection on my feet for a couple of years. No treatment ever cured the condition completely. After I saw Dr. Greenblatt, my condition went away and has been gone fro 2 months now. That's the longest I haven't had a rash on my feet in a couple of years.
- Pros: Freindly staff, ggod care
