My friend, his company and I ordered some bottles of wines for holiday networking purpose and tried to make good relationships with our clients during this bad econmoic time...Chambers Street Wines' sales person promised the dates of deliveries but the bottles never arrived at our clients' on time; we weren't reached by phone or email for any delays or problems of shipping; and the day when the clients were supposed to recieve our bottles of gifts, we sound like idiots to our clients when we asked them if they had tried the wines. Chambers Street Wines' sales person should not have said anything about on-time delivery if it's not the case, we are very upset with this matter as we can't even get refund or credit for this sales person's mistake.

Stopped in to p/u a quick bottle of champagne....and I was late for meeting friends on the other side of the city. I was able to leave with not only my bottle in short order, but also with very helpful directions to my restaurant some 30 blocks away. Otherwise, I would have missed first course!

The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. The store is nice and big, decked out pine woods and framed pictures. I don't think this store would sell Yellowtail, but they do have some nice, lesser exposed wines for under $20. There are some really special, more expensive wines from Europe as well. This store would probably be for a crowd aged 30 and up, unless you're younger and really knowledgeable about wine. They also have sake and dessert liquors if you're looking for something different. PROS: Big store, knowledgeable staff CONS: Not a lot of cheaper overexposed wines available here
