Very unique pieces and wonderful service. I picked out my engagement ring here and am now getting my wedding band here, too. Their engagement rings and wedding bands are really unique, and if you like jewelry that has a vintage look, this place is for you (although they have modern-looking stuff too). I just found their selection to be much better than the typical solitaires you've seen a million times. They are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and don't rush you at all. We even came in without an appt., and they helped us right away, although you probably should make an appt. to look at engagement/wedding rings. My understanding is that they are also eco-friendly, so it's a win-win!

The Only Jewelry Store We'll Shop At. This small, family-owned jewelry store is the only one you'll ever need to visit. My fiancé purchased my beautiful engagement ring here last year, and Jennifer went out of her way to make sure I had it in time for a trip home to visit my family.

We returned this year to purchase our wedding bands, and the service has been (as expected) stellar! They truly care about their customers and go out of their way to get you the rings that you want at a cost that is well within your budget. I can't imagine having gone to any other jeweler for such a special occasion.

Highly recommend Greenwich Jeweler. The absolute best!

Amazing service...an unforgetable experience. If you're thinking of going to Greenwich Jewellers to buy something special....then do!! My fiance proposed while we were on vacation in January. Too excited to wait to come home to Ireland, we started shopping for a ring straight away. I read the great reviews online about Greenwich so we decided go shopping!! I cannot speak highly enough about our experience. Trishia did absolutely everything possible to make sure i found my perfect ring. She educated us on the 4Cs and once i had decided on the style i preferred, she explored every option to ensure i had my dream ring within our budget range. On top of this, they had my ring made in 3days as we were flying home 3days later! I can honestly i've never experienced such amazing service anywhere in the world. Buying such an expensive item in a different county could have been a very daunting experience however, thanks to Trishia and the staff at Greenwich we were utterly confident in the quality of ring we bought. I will always remember our experience at Greenwich and will be eternally grateful to Trishia.(Elaine Ireland)

The best diamond store in NYC.. In my opinion, the best diamond store in NYC. And I am not an easy costumer to please. I was really concerned about choosing the rock for my brazilian fiancee, and for sure, the greenwich team by far impressed me with their knowledge and professionalism.

They heard exactly what I was expecting to buy and found me the diamond I wanted, helping me make our own custom engagement ring!

They did an amazing job, the ring was absolutely gorgeous.

My fiancee just loved her ring, and for sure we would like to highly recommend their store!

Save the headache -- Buy here!. Cannot convey in English how happy I am with this place. Made an appointment to see Christina -- as I was referred by my best-man-to-be whom she had helped with HIS engagement ring. Honestly -- she turned what I anticipated to be a worrisome debacle into a streamlined process I could not have been happier with. Bottom line is my Fiance' loves the ring, and all the right people can't keep their eyes off it. My parameters (expectations, budget, specifications) were not only respected -- they were honored. Excellent environment, welcoming to me and my associates who helped me pick out a perfect ring from a wide array of spectacular stones and settings, and almost laughably attentive and predictive of my needs -- I came away with more than I felt I bargained for, on a superb time-frame which was critical to my proposal schedule. I am telling all my friends this is where I bought my engagement ring and would call them fools for shopping elsewhere. I went into this with all the wariness and trepidation of the typical panicked groom.. they dissolved my concerns and left me only with happy memories and of course the hand of the girl of my dreams (glittering like a miniature sun no less!)

Top rating. Unless you have family or the hookup, shop here -- you'll feel like you did. Excellent choice for Princes AND Kings. You'll know what I mean.

Conveniently located in the business district native to the World Trade Center -- I had no trouble getting in and out of there with my choice of conveyance.

Attentive, Helpful, and Beautiful Selection!. My boyfriend and I decided to check out Greenwich Jewelers for engagement rings after seeing so many positive reviews online. We had an appointment with Christina, who took the time to get a sense of what styles we were interested in and our budget. I was impressed with the array of settings available - most that I looked at can be made in platinum, white, or yellow gold as you choose, and some allow other customization, for ex. choosing 4 or 6 prong settings. There was a diverse range of prices as well, to accomodate a variety of budgets.

Christina talked us through the 4 C's, then let us look at loose stones. The coolest part was getting to see them in a temporary setting to get a sense of how each would look on my hand! As other reviewers have stated, Christina never pushed us to the top of our budget, and actually recommended the less expensive stone. Ultimately, we ended up paying almost 25% less than we would have at Zales for a ring with a nicer, customized, better-quality setting and a higher-grade diamond. We placed our order, and I can't wait to see my ring!

Great Place!. After 17 years of being together, we decided it was time... We wanted an independently-owned jewelry store - preferably one that dealt in "ethical diamonds" - reasonable prices and the ability to work with knowledgeable and friendly people who could guide us in what we were looking for. We did our research. Greenwich Jewelers exceeded our expectations! Our experience with Jennifer couldn't have been better. She delivered what she promised - beautiful rings. We highly recommend Greenwich Jewelers!

Reassuring jeweler. My fiance bought my ring in another country. Which meant he got the perfect stone, but also meant it was super difficult to take back for resizing.

In fact, the ring has so much detail that Carl first suggested that we take it back to the place of purchase and exchange it for a smaller fit. Then I told him why I couldn't do that since it would take an entire trip and airline ticket to do so.

So Carl commenced work.

When I picked it up a week later, it was PERFECT.

I was hesitant to leave the ring. In fact I had made an appt to have it resized in front of me because I know of true stories where stones were switched. Due to the amount of work, I had to leave it but this was the first place I felt comfortable doing so.

I had also visited about 4 other brand name retail jewelry stores in NYC and never felt comfortable enough with the staffs' knowledge. As soon as I met Carl I felt he knew what he was talking about.

From beginning to end I felt completely reassured and am thrilled with the outcome.

Fantastic Jeweler. I recently inherited my great-grandmother's engagement ring and the antique setting needed a significant restoration. I carefully researched jewelers in New York and as soon as I set foot in Greenwich Jewelers I knew I had picked the right place. Carl Gandia understood what an important piece of jewelry this is to me and my family and took a lot of time to discuss the options. I wasn't sure it was possible to restore the ring to what it looked like 90 years ago, but Carl was very happy to do it. I just picked it up and I'm overjoyed with how it turned out. Greenwich Jewelers is now "my" jeweler. I will definitely return to make purchases and have other pieces worked on.
