Quick/ affordable and relatively less painful brazilian wax!. I specially made my account on this website only to write a review for this place. I've been to Elite Day Spa several times for brazilian wax. Mostly my waxer was Adrianna who is absolutely wonderful. She always makes me feel very comfortable and even plays relaxing music to soothe me and take my mind off of the pain. I've had waxing done from several places and honestly I feel like she has some sort of magic- she makes it less painful and the pain is over quickly as she is very fast and good at her job!!

Although only once I got it done from Elizabeth after which I felt like never coming back to this place. I wanted to get my legs, arms and brazilian done and it took her well over an hour to finish this. The brazilian wax was poorly done and it was extremely painful at the end of which i could still see small hair patches down there!. I'm the last person to badmouth anyone but honestly I am surprised at some good reviews about Elizabeth that have been posted here. Different things work for different people I guess.

Anyway, I definitely recommend the brazilian wax over here. Its the cheapest deal of good quality that I've been able to find. But remember, Adrianna seems to be the best for this job!

Only the Best Wax by Elizabeth. I have been going to Elite for 7 yrs and have been seeing Elizabeth for the last 5 yrs. She does a wonderful job and makes you feel very comfortable. She is very good and quick but also friendly (talking when you want to talk, not talking when you do not want to talk). I would highly recommend Elizabeth to any friend and I would follow her anywhere, even if I had to pay a little more.

Great Waxing by Adrianna. I've been going to Adrianna for years and think she's great. She's not a talker, true; but she's caring and superefficient and, most important, painless. She does as thorough a waxing as Elizabeth Arden where I used to go at 1/3 of the price and 1/3 of the time. When I was working in midtown, I was able to dash in at lunchtime and get a full leg and bikini and return to work in an hour; it was great. Now, I still go out of my way to see her.

Decent wax but very unsanitary. In the past Ive usually seen Angela who is quick, quiet, and precise. Mara is a perfectionist who will not push or trick you into getting additional services but a little sloppy and unsanitary, and Adriana is a nut with decent skills. Adriana is a hustler. So if your not strong minded beware. The last time I went to her for underarms she told me my brows need touching up and asked me if it was okay for her to wax the top brow. After she did the top she then tells me that she wants to clean up the bottom and proceeds to wax the bottom yadi yadi yada I get to the register to find I'm being charged for an $18.00 brow waxing when she only removed like 6 brow hairs total from my brows(I have very sparse eyebrows that I can shape by tweezing once a month). Angela is very good but sometimes rude I ve seen her the most of all the girls and everytime I go for a leg wax she tries to press me to get a brazillian even though every time I explain my skin is way too sensitive to handle that kind of hard core hair removal. She then rolls her eyes in disgust and after our last session Ive refused to see her anymore. Mara is sweet but the most unsanitary of the three. Speaking of unsanitary the rooms are disgusting btw and over the years have gotten worse and worse. Theres a lot of double dipping and I swear Adriana uses the same stick all day on everyone(maybe all week). All in all the waxing is decent and so are the prices for the city and thats why I have put up with the other stuff over the last three years but after my last appt. I decided its just not worth it anymore...I'm gonna try Jeniette downtown as they come highly reccomended by a friend. I give this place three stars one for each of the ladies Ive seen. Good riddens elite!

Great Place For a Facial!!!. I have been searching for a good facialist for a long time!! Adrianna at Elite day spa is by far the best I have gone to. She gave me the best facial which included a wonderful and relaxing facial massage,a precise extraction of all my blackheads, and a great mask. Some people speed through that, but she took her time and explained the products she was using. My face was glowing afterwards and wasnt splotchy or red, I felt brand new!!! I definitely recommend Elite Day Spa, they also do waxing, mani's and pedi's and massages there, but if you go in for a facial ask for ADRIANNA!

Elite Day Spa is THE BEST PLACE TO GO.. There is nothing better than an experience at Elite Day Spa. The place is conveniently located, CLEAN!!!, with an incredibly friendly staff. No where else have I actually had a positive experience with a bikini wax.

Mara is the BEST EVER. She is the first person I've ever gone to for waxing and will be the last! Mara waxes you quickly, but even more importantly, does a GREAT JOB. She pays close attention and doesn't rush the experience.

If you are looking for a pedi/mani, go to Elizabeth! She will make the process incredibly relaxing and spend a lot of time making your nails look perfect!

Elite Day Spa. I am shocked and appalled that anyone could have anything negative to say about Elite Day Spa. Not only are the employees kind, caring, and compassionate, but the aura of the spa is impeccable. I always leave with a glow and smile on my face (and no, it's not just because they give amazing facials!) From manicures to massages to the bikini waxes, the prices and the technique are incredible...I am always satisfied (and my mother and I have been seeing Mara for over 25 years!)

...in fact, I was recently contacted by a modeling agency as they were interested in finding an eye model. I have blue eyes and eyebrows identical to Brooke Shields. They asked how I keep up that look...I said it wasn't natural. Mara is my secret!

I highly highly highly recommend this Day Spa and if you think otherwise, maybe you need a wake up call...you will not find another place like this one!

BEST PLACE!. wow! I just had an appointment at this spa. I had an amazing experience! I got an electrolysis with lily and she was FANTASTIC! it couldn't have gone by better! I came in with 10 hairs and left with 0! My friend had an appointment with Tamara yesterday. She got a french bikini wax, and she said that it was the best one yet! I recommend this place to everyone! It is very good! It is very cosy and comfortable!

Long time customer, also a doctor. I have been coming to Elite for many years for Brazilians with Angela. I am also a physician who trained at a top hospital in Manhattan. I was initially nervous about the risks of waxing years ago so I researched it. The risk of getting an STD from a wax is almost nonexistent. There is not a single case published in the accepted medical literature of this happening. The virus needs direct skin-to-skin transmission. (If it were possible to get an STD from the hot wax, it would be more likely to get an STD from a public toilet considering the wax is pretty hot and the toilet is not). Also, if this was a possible mode of transmission many people would have been infected already and there would be many documented cases. What happens more frequently is females already infected with herpes virus have an outbreak (sometimes the first) that is triggered by the trauma from the wax. I hope that puts some people's minds at ease. I think Angela is wonderful. She is kind and has good technique. She has always done a thorough and relatively painless job. I think this place is great for the price and I would recommend it.

Best Brazilian Ever. Mara is amazing!! Fast and painless! Best brazilian I ever had and she made sure I was completely hairless when I walked out of there!! She uses an organic wax so my skin is never irriated and she takes her time removing all my ingrowns... painlessly. The prices are very affordable. Make sure you try the bikini facial!
