After moving from out of state, tried three different Dr.s here in NYC, and I love Dr Lewis. Appointments are quick, he keeps good office hours, and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes from my appt time to be seen! Unlike another reviewer's experience, Dr. Lewis accepted the lab work from another Dr.'s office, and he has been great for my health. Uncovered a serious issue and his follow-up has been terrific. He's a nice guy, too. His staff is friendly and helpful and get back to you on the same day if you have to leave a message. And the actual office is great ... where other Dr.'s offices in NYC were in cramped and dingy (even dirty), sometimes in ground floor/basement units, Dr. Lewis is in a clean lofty space a few doors from corner of Broadway/Houston. Highly recommend.
Pros: Cool guy, great office.

Dr. Lewis did over $600 worth of the wrong bloodwork for me, tests I had recently had elsewhere that I had given him copies of. He neglected completely to do the test I actually needed done, after we had a very clear discussion of it during my appointment. Since then I have been unable to reach him by phone to find out what happened. He told his assistant that I would need to book another appointment to speak with him about it, apparently another opportunity to bill my insurance unnecessarily. I will not be returning. If you're looking for a doctor who is responsible and responsive, not to mention honest, look elsewhere. In addition, his staff seem overworked and unhappy, some to the point of surliness.
Pros: Seems nice on the service.
Cons: Doesn't really listen, can't reach by phone, irresponsible testing
