The Scene
Opened in 2000, this friendly pink-and-gold boutique boasts a devoted following of style-savvy clients--most of whom who have tried to keep the small, packed store a secret from the masses. Judging by the clamoring weekend crowds and constant influx of new merch, however, it's clear the cat's out of the bag. Make that dogs: P&S is named after the owners' two Yorkies.
The Goods
If you've seen it in In Style or on a 20-something celebrity, P&S undoubtedly sells a more wearable, affordable version. The plugged-in owners choose select items from popular lines that, along with their private label designs, represent the store's signature eclectic style; quick turnaround and constant rotation means the stock never gets too trendy. In-house "stylists" (aka patient sales attendants) are happy to help match that floral kimono-style top with the perfect jeans, or show-off the small selection of jewelry, accessories and shoes.

I never ever write something but Pookie & Sebastian needs to be recognized for its great windows, product, price, collections, quality and even customer service. I am a fashion editor @ Conde and my dad is a CEO for a large high-profile designer/retailer in NYC and we were talking "shop talk" at dinner over the weekend and said how POOKIE & SEBASTIAN HAS IT ALL TOGETHER!! LOOK, PRICE, and QUALITY ALL the BEST!! We know this industry "inside-out" from Bergdorf to the Forever 21's Pookie has created the best mix in retailing! Everytime I wear my clothes from Pookie and get soooooo many great comments! All my co-workers get them too (and they know clothing too)! I just wore an outfit from Pookie @ one of the fashion shows in Paris and EVERYONE and MEAN everyone came up to me asking wear I got this outfit. I was covered from head to toe in Pookie including their jewelry. Hey, I got a comment from Karl. So, I JUST want to write this so PEOPLE know how great Pookie & Sebastian is from someone that has been in the fashion world for over 10 plus years! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Love!!! Love!!! Love!!! Pookie & Sebastian! This place is such amazing place to shop!! I have been shopping for over 5 years in NYC at all of there locations! They have it all together! Great quality merchandise @ affordable prices! EVERYTIME I wear something I always always always get complements!!! I cant say enough great things about pookie! GREAT style, prices, customer service, and energy!!!! If anyone ever says anything negative about them its because they didnt get there way! THUMBS UP for Pookie! ALL my friends, family, and relatives (from all over the states & world) love this place too!!
