eh..

i stumbled upon this place and i thought with a name like nyc, it'd be a sure thing. the food kind of tasted like something i could have made myself at home and the enviornment made me feel like i was dining in a locker room. i would only suggest going here if you don't feel like getting dressed up and just want to chill with your friends.

Rude & inconsiderate...

Made reservations for 10 people on a Sat nite for a friends b-day 3 weeks in advance and 3 days before they have the nerve to call and ask to push the reservation up to 7pm so they can accomodate a more important, larger party or they will not be able to accomodate my party that had been reserved for 3 weeks. Shows a lot for the kind of restaurant this is...nice way to please potential business.

Talk about a chewy cow!

The place was quaint and the service was friendly, but oh my GOD!, what was up with the beef??? I ordered a fillet mignon and got a chunk of jerky. And when I suggested that they check their cuts of meat I was told there had been 2 prior complaints and were was serving the dish. I ended up getting a pasta dish that was practically uncooked. Good thing the bread was good, otherwise I would have starved.
