The Whiskey is Perfect for Private Parties and Special Events

  • NYC Nightclub/Bar/Lounge
  • DJ Martial Every Wednesday

The Whiskey is one of Manhattan's hottest nightclubs. The NYC bar/lounge is a spectacular nightspot in the center of New York, Times Square. This unique space continues the Gerber Group's tradition of chic nightspots along with a soothing mix of intimacy and action.

The Whiskey is an impressive 7,500 sq ft. and features a spectacular dance floor with a DJ booth in the shape of a cube and a state-of-the-art screening room with dinner theater seating arrangements.

Guests can enjoy a fabulous drink menu while they enjoy live music and mingling with the sexy crowd. Banquet seating arrangements fill the area around the bar with metal mesh curtains surrounding them, creating a private space for guests seeking a more intimate setting away from the party.

The Whiskey is the place where New Yorkers go to unwind and have fun.

Editorial Review for The Whiskey – by Daniella Brodsky

The Scene
It's no secret that there's a bit of cachet connected to any bar that Rande Gerber brings to town, especially one in a W Hotel. The Whiskey garners the same lines of would-be entrants that the other W bars, but the Times Square locale lends a different feel. In tune with the Las Vegas vibe of the district, a vast VIP section (bottle service only) with a projection screen conjures a futuristic mood.

The Draw
The biggest bonus of the Whiskey is that it's been granted a cabaret license--no mean feat these days. So you can shake your rump to party music like J-Lo and Madonna, though securing a spot on the mini dance floor can be a challenge. But even if you lack the space to perform, you can while away the time oohing and ahhing at the floor's rainbow of meandering gel colors.

I just celebrated my 30th birthday here and had a great time! The vip sections were in a great people watching area and our waitress was on her toes. Be prepared to shell out 400.00 for the exclusive service.

Expensive.... $12 shots and drinks... Scene is cool, but needs a better looking crowd. Went for Halloween this past year, and it was agood time.

Pros: strong drinks

Cons: service
