For The Grown And Sexy. This place is awesome its a big change from the regular night clubs in NYC its more relaxing and the dress code for once was actually enforced which hardly happens at NYC night clubs. The music was great, the bathrooms clean. The waitress polite and on time. The scene something I would definitely do again. The crowd mixed as far as age and race. It was an experience in itself. If you go get a table ladies. Located in the heart of the city.

The lobby entrance is what's impressive. I've been here twice now and it's ok. You walk in and there's water all around you falling on glass ceilings down walls. Up the elevator and there's the lobby bar. It's trendy, hotel patrons and others just hanging out. Nothing too special. A good place to meet up for a drink with someone before heading out or on a date. Not loud and not too dark. I'd go back again, and of course the standard 6 dollar bottle of beer, so bring your wallet.

BOUNCERS FROM HELL.... NEVER AGAIN. Neanderthal 80's throwback bouncers were as rude as I've ever encountered. They wouldn't let me in for a friend's private birthday party because I was wearing shorts -- dress shorts, a dress shirt and nice shoes. When I explained that I was going to a birthday party, the bouncer looked at me and said, "Yeah? So? What's that supposed to mean?" There is no dress code listed on CitySearch nor was my friend (whose birthday it was) told of a dress code when she booked the space. NEVER AGAIN.

For a Quick good time.... A couple of us went here and had a good time, atmosphere is pretty cool , the gel dance floor is small it's best to dance near the Dj booth. the music is what you here on the radio sometimes repeated, BUT the bartenders sucked! they were very shady and stood posing up against the wall before noticing you were there. there was only one nice bartender out of 5 the rest served the men quicker than the ladies! they definetly need to get some quick guy bartenders behind there.

Show me the way to the next Whiskey Bar!. When visiting NYC, the Whiskey is the place to go if you want a good taste of New York nightlife. The bar itself is beautiful, with lava-lamp-esque floor to dance on, and a screening room in the back if you are lucky enough to be a VIP or holding a private party. The sexy servers took care of all our needs with a smile, and were quick to deliver our cocktails. The drink menu is also great, serving the latest and most creative concoctions. All in all, our experience at The Whiskey was great, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Best thing to do on a Wednesday night. We were visiting from ATL and out on a Wednesday night and NOTHING was going on. Finally, when we gave up and started walking back to the hotel we came across this club. It was loud, fun, and full of people (unlike anything else that we could find in the city!) It was very sophisticated and posh. However, it was a bit pricy (2 shots $24!). Still a fun place to go, especially when nothing else is going on.

NICE!. The coolest thing that I liked about this place was the side entrance of the hotel. It was surrounded with 'water fountain walls.' It was the coolest thing ever! Even the ceiling was like that! It was neat! The atmosphere was gr8 also!

A Good Time. I stayed at the hotel in late November, and went to the club with some friends both Friday and Saturday night. It can get pretty crowded and there isn't much room on the dance floor. The music was good, but not great. The drinks were good. This is definitely a trendy little place to hang out. We had a good time. Because I stayed at the hotel, we got in for free, and were not subjected to the velvet rope. Otherwise, I believe it's like 20 bucks to get in.

Nice place to just hang. Had a great time both nights that we went. Since a friend was staying at the hotel, we didn't have to pay. The environment is friendly and well deigned! The music is good enough to dance to, but could use improving! The drinks are a bit pricey, but are worth teh money. This is the best Whiskey I have been to. The one I have been to in Chicago sucks!

Good Times, with a Price!. But what else would you expect from a club in a W hotel. The music was good, there were plenty of people there, and it was a bit crowded but more than enough space for all. Shocked at a $20 cover charge, with no guest DJ or anything, but it was a friends birthday so I still went in. Wouldn't recommend it to others since there are plenty of great places in the city with no cover, but I will admit I enjoyed myself that one night.
