Tips for Hyatt Regency Jersey City

July 11, 2012

The Hyatt never lets me down and Jersey City is no different. I can count on a great bed, a soft pillow and a great night’s sleep every time I come here. The staff was friendly but not too helpful when it came to getting tips on a good restaurant. Other than the one hiccup at the front desk with trying to get a recommendation, I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Upscale hotel's comfortable rooms and modern business facilities appeal to both business and leisure travelers.. In Short
Soon after the first Hyatt hotel opened in Los Angeles in 1957, Hyatt hotels and resorts became known for their dramatic atrium lobbies and their ability to express local flavor. Rooms feature beds with Sealy brand mattresses and down comforters, flat-screen TVs with cable access, wireless Internet, iPod-adaptable alarm clock/radios, Starbucks coffee and Portico bath products. Travelers enjoy the convenience of hotel and airline check-in kiosks, fitness facilities, multiple business centers and ample meeting spaces.

Great view, helpful employees. We found this hotel to be an excellent choice because the location was great. It was next door to the train into NYC, and very near the Holland Tunnel so our driver was able to return us to our hotel quickly. We were able to enjoy NYC without staying in the midst of all the hectic city acitivity. The view from our room and the restaurant was spectacular. You can't see the NYC skyline while actually in NYC, but at the Hyatt Jersey City you can! The rooms are quite large. The restaurant food, while expensive, was very good. Most of all, we had car trouble when we began our return trip home. The hotel quickly found us the phone number of a local dealership and let us park our loaner car at the hotel for free while our car was being serviced. Their assistance was greatly appreciated.

so happy.... went here for a v-day night out....amazing! views were great - we were right on the front side looking out onto the hudson river. everyone from the front desk to the complimentary breakfast (which was from a code on the hyatt website), to the Vu lounge with more great views...

all in all - i LOVE the views - true to the website's pics...also right by the path - right into NYC and NJ

Beautiful view! So-so stay.. The room is above average but nothing special. Comfortable, with a good bathroom and all the necessary features (room service until very late, DSL connection--9.95/night which is quite standard, very responsive temperature control system, big TV...). The gym is fairly nice, with weights and cardio equipment, though I wish there were more free weights.

The views absolutely make this place. Beautiful views of the Hudson and NYC in a quite part of Jersey city!

The restaurant, Vu, is actually quite good and reasonably priced.

It is a great place for conferences (which is why I'm here today).
