In Short
According to the dictionary, it's a ditch, a type of pottery or a city in the Netherlands, but the downtown crowd that frequents this discreet bi-level club defines "Delft" as a hip-hop hideaway. The Buddha presiding over the dance floor adds a touch of Zen to the friendly neighborhood bar with super-club beats. Two rooms lined with couches leave ample space for dancing, and DJs spin R&B, soul and Top-40 hits.

This place is always hot and overcrowded and absolutely not worth the wait when there is a line outside. And who do the bouncers think they are???? This place is not worthy of their attitude

Delft not only offers hip-hop, R&B and soul. Downstairs on Fridays and Saturdays feature some of the best local DJs spinning house. Tuesdays offers breaks (breakbeat), Wednesdays are for funk, soul and hip-hop, and Thursdays are a showcase of rotating parties that cover the gamut of dance music styles from dub reggae to downtempo, techno to house, soulful drum 'n bass to classic hip-hop. Whatever your musical tastes are, you're sure to have a great time, and either be exposed to some great new music you've never heard of before, or feel completely comfortable in the familiarity of the tunage. Check out Future Soul Sundays, the newest weekly party which features soulful house downstairs and soulful drum n bass upstairs. See you there!
