Incompetent - Horrible experience

I'd purchased a coupon for an endermologie treatment - so when I found out that the package included the sweating session underneath a heated blanket I agree to test it but I hated it! A sauna does a much better job, cleaner and safer! so I asked them to have only 45 minutes of the endermologie massage instead which they agree. Too bad they fail to write it down on my chart so every session I went I had to explain the whole deal. They end up losing my chart anyway so I didn’t even know my progress.

I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! They are very poorly organized!!! They were always late (30 to 45 minutes wait). They change aestheticians very often and they don’t take time to train them! It wasn't my first time doing endermologie so I knew the process. Only the 1st one knew what she was doing. The rest basically rubbed the machine as hard as possible all over my body and I had to point them out that shoulders and hips also have bones and it was hurtful. The suits were ripped in various areas and very worn out.

My friend asked them to reimburse her the money which they did. I should done the same thing. I will definitely not be back and would not recommend this place to anyone. I rarely take the time to write reviews but the service and procedure here was so bad.

It is good to have someone pamper you while you relax. The treatment at the spa was fantastic – soothing, takes your mind off everything. Oh! The young lady knows how to work that massage machine. Great service. The best spa experience. You will not know how it feels till you try it.

Fabulous Experience

My experience at the Cellulite Center At Luminesa Medi-Spa at east 36th Street can best be described using the words fabulous, fantastic, caring, and much needed. The environment at Cellulite Center At Luminesa Medi-Spa is pristine and peaceful, exactly what you’d expect from a spa, a place for healing. I was warmly greeted and kindly asked if I wanted some water. After filling out a form which asked questions about my medical history, I went for the first stage of my slimming treatment massage using a Lipomassage™ machine. I was taken to a room and given a body suit made out of a thin, soft material to put on. After being asked questions regarding additional concerns about my medical history, I changed into the body suit. When the practitioner came back, she proceeded to give the treatment which consisted of using a Lipomassage™ machine which has a suction tip on the end to massage my body. The massages rotated and pulled my skin. This experience was “different” and very relaxing.

The next step was removal of the body suit followed by an application of reducing oils to my body, my body being wrapped and then under a heating blanket to “cook” and sweat for 42 minutes. I could identify mint essential oil in the concoction and felt stimulated and relaxed at the same time. The sweating process was gradual; I “cooked slowly”, going from a slight simmer, to a quick boil preceded by rapid cooling. Towards the end, I was sweating profusely! I forgot to tell you, before the slimming oils and “cooking”, my waist, hips, thighs, and under breast area were measured and recorded. My percentage of body fat was also measured with a meter. After the sweating, my measurements were taken again. I loss an incredible 5 inches over all, and my percentage of body fat was reduced by 2 whole percentage points! Whoopee! Do I recommend this slimming treatment at Cellulite Center At Luminesa Medi-Spa? Emphatically, YES! It works! I came out of center tingling, refreshed, relaxed, and ready for anything!

Wow! Great!

Wow! Luminesa is beautiful and tranquil, with the highest level of first class customer service. My favorite bit of atmosphere is the cozy garden patio, unexpectedly tucked away in the middle of Manhattan—a perfect little get-away spot to relax on a nice day before or after a slimming treatment. I was impressed by the comfortable indoor lounge also. Most importantly, the treatments really work—you lose inches right where you want to lose them, and if you’re serious about getting rid of cellulite, Endermologie treatments work for that, too. Really satisfied. Thanks.

Their location is ideal and I love how comfortable they make you feel here. Their endermologie sessions are great leaving you looking forward to your next. I highly recommend Sergay, he was professional and really knows his job. I can't wait to try other services they offer.
