In Short – The hallway entrance doubles as a wine cellar with nearly 600 backlit bottles of French wine. Through the sliding door is a cozy dining room full of small tables set off by huge antique mirrors and fetish-y erotic artwork. The cuisine is traditional French with dishes like filet mignon au poivre, salmon with bearnaise, and foie gras en terrine. Every night features music, either by a jazzy soul band or a disco DJ.

My boyfriend took me to Bruno Jamais for my b-day and I absolutely fell in love. The food was out of this world. I ordered fish and my boyfriend had a steak; both cooked to perfection. From what I heard, the chef is from France and I hope he stays in this restaurant because we're definitely coming back.
- Pros: Delicious food, great service
- Cons: Picture of a big mouth on the wall
Great food, caring staff and a club-like atmoshpere; Owner rude and uncaring.

During the night, some customers started smoking cigars and cigarettes. When my friend complained to Bruno Jamias, he told my friend that in his restaurant he has his own rules and if my friend didn't like it, he could leave. This restaurant is not listed as a cigar bar and is completely enclosed. Why would this restaurant be excused from the NYC smoking laws.
The food and drinks were very pricey but delicios. Club like atmosphere; people dance in between tables; lots of fun. To bad for the owner whose lack of respect for his customers spoiled our night.
Amazing!

We found this place by accident, just looking for a place to have a few cocktails and some food. It ended up to be one of the best dining experiences I've had. The staff are among the most attentive and pleasant I've ever encountered. One of the waiters who was from Brazil actually jumped behind the bar to make authentic Brazilian Caiprinhas. The food was spectacular....everything we had was perfect. The lobster brulee was creative and I highly reccomend it. The short ribs and the steaks melted in your mouth. The space itself is beautiful yet not stuffy. I will reccomend this restaurant to everyone and we are already planning our next dinner there. It is a bit pricey. It was $500.00 for 3 people.....and it was worth every penny.
