Yummy. If you are looking for great Traditional Italian dishes look no further - it's not the cheapest but it's honestly worth every penny ! I also see celebs there sometimes.

Citysearch Editorial Review. This modest Italian trattoria, positioned at the far western edge of the theater district, is decorated with a golden, russet and brown color combo and rustic wooden furniture. The menu is “Italian red sauce” with a kick: plenty of pizzas (cooked in a wood-fired stone oven), pastas and scaloppini alongside more ingenious dishes like beef raviolo with butter and sage. The eatery sports a tiny little full-service bar up front and an affordably priced wine list with a surprising number of grappas.

Nice pasta. I went here for lunch the other day, on a "quick date." The food was very, good, nice atmosphere, I just wish I could say the same for my date. Only problem was the service was a bit slow for lunch.

great pasta!!!. I had a lunch at cascina restaurant with my girlfriends last week, and I had the best pasta dish in years. It was with lamb ragout and pecorino cheese, simply amazing. My girlfriends shared pizzas and they said the pizzas were excelent. I will definately go back to check out other pasta dishes , and have some more of lamb one.

DELIZIOSO!!. Cascina is a wonderful restaurant! I've been there a couple times and every time I went I never had problems with the service or the food! I've met the owner and the manager and they are very nice people! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone! They recently changed the pizza and it is not round anymore but it's long and you can have it in many choices! I love it very much and I will love to go back as soon as possible! The chef is also very sweet and the home made pasta and desserts are DELIZIOSI!

I LOVE IT!

LOVED IT!. I went to Cascina with my girlfriend recently and had an excellent meal. We started with an order of calamari and a salad and both were very good. For the main course, I had a delicious pizza while my girlfriend had the gnocchi, once again, both were delicious. The service was very good as was the wine list. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Avoid the Bruschetta, Be aware of the Service!. Eat at your own risk, service was terrible, as was the bruschetta. We returned the bruschetta because it was half onion and it still appeared on the bill...go figure. I would stick to the pastas!

Save your money. We chose this restaurant based on Citysearch review and were sadly disappointed. The food was mediocre at best and the waiter was obviously not into his job. The Caprese salad was way overpriced at $14 and came with hard unripened tomatos. We sent it back and were given another serving with better tomatos but I guess they will try and see what people will accept. The portions are small and the selections are limited and just ok. The wine list was extensive but nothing was under $32 a bottle. A glass of wine was $10. For the location there are several other restaurants in the area that deserve a 4-5 star rating but this is definately not one of them.
