Although the staff is knowledgeable, the multiple distractions (barking dogs, loud singing lessons, a trumpet & piano blasting) totally created a non-learing enviroment. If your into the Twilight Zone...stop by this place...there's a reason why there cheap prices.

Pros: Cheap Prices

Cons: Dog smell, too many noise distractions (barking dogs, singing class, karate yells, etc

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

My thirteen year old niece had a fantasy about studying harp. I think it had something to do with wearing a glamorous diaphanous dress and strumming soulfully. Anyway the people at City Music Schools were delightful. They steared us away from orchestral harp (the big heavy, non portable, and expensive to maintain option--it seems a set of strings costs over $1000.) They suggested folk harp, which is portable and affordable and told us where to get one. Then they hooked us up with an instructor. Now my daughter is living her "Celtic Woman" fantasy!

Pros: delightful staff

Cons: non that I can think of.
