Good for work and after. Would I come here on my own? No, but on the company's dime definitely. This place IS delicious, don't get me wrong, but while the atmosphere is relaxed, it's sometimes described as casual elegant relaxed, but that just puts pictures of kind of annoying guys in ties after work drinking light beers. Automatically I think of work, and after being at work all day, I don't want to pay to be in the same space as most of the guys at my office. SO, get the burger deluxe, you won't be disappointed, just make sure you don't have to pay for it ;)

Citysearch Editorial Profile. Located above P.J. Clarke's, this midtown spot channels old-school American opulence with pricey chophouse fare (steak, seafood, etc.) and a masculine, clubby vibe.

Worth the trip!. went to a private party here, and was very much impressed. Food & Service were great. would go back anytime. Really liked the lamb chop appetizer.

Excellent business lunch. Went to sidecar for a business lunch. The atmosphere is that of an old-school exclusive club, the staff very efficient and professional. The food was fantastic, and it was quiet enough to conduct our business without any problem. Highly reccommended.

Large Dinner Party. I hosted a surprise dinner party at the Sidecar and it was FABULOUS! From the minute we walked in, to the second we walked out, the staff went above

and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable and important. The

restaurant atmosphere was ideal (quiet, spacious and comfortable) and the space was great for a large table. They even arranged a special prix-fixe menus specifically for our party. The wine (a glass never emptied) and food was delicious. The hostesses were so inviting and the wait staff was extremely attentive. I am so

grateful for having found such a wonderful restaurant to host my event. I give this restaurant my highest recommendations for a group dinner.
